• Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I have used MAM soothers in the past and my child has really liked them, but I usually find it hard to justify the price. We used the soother for night-time comfort whilst falling asleep.

• What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

I like the design of the soothers as I think they’re quite easy for my daughter to grip and take in and out herself.

• Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes I would definitely be happy to use them again, she really liked them.

• Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes I definitely would, though I would warn them about the price beforehand.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
I tested the original silicone might soother. My first impressions were positive- they seemed robust and had a nice design.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
My little girl uses the soothers for nap times and overnight. We have always used Tommee Tippee soothers, so I was quite keen to give a new brand a try and see what she thought.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
My baby loved that they glowed in the dark and I quite liked this too as it made them much easier to locate overnight. They glowed very brightly, much more so than the glow in the dark Tommee Tippee ones! She was a bit uncertain at first, as they are a different shape to her current brand, but she soon grew to like them and would choose these over the old one. They seemed to fit very comfortably, as they are curved to fit with the contour of the mouth.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
Yes I certainly would. They seem well made, comfortable and my baby seems to like them.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
The soothers glow very brightly, which makes them easy to find when the baby loses them in the middle of the night. They are contoured to the face, which makes them more comfortable, and they were quickly accepted by my baby.

We tested the 12-18 months soothers.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

My daughter always used MAM soothers and she will not have any other brands. She is always happy with all the designs they create and she was very excited to have these lovely ones on this occasion.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

Perfect for my 12 month old who just has soothers for naps, I wanted a soother to transition to from his tommee tippee one and it’s been a surprisingly easy one. It’s much thinner which is great for his teeth. It doesn’t fall out of his mouth in the night which is a bonus.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes, we would! We always big fans for MAM, the quality is good, costs are acceptable, they got many designed for different age or situation baby to choose the products, my baby girl loves their products. We will keep to use it.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes, definitely!!

Perfect Soother 6m. It looked small and discreet, which I liked.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try the soother to help my baby fall asleep off the breast. This is what we used it for.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

It was small, so didn’t dominate my baby’s face (not sure if that sounds a bit strange!). We also liked the thinner, more natural-looking test.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes, possibly. My baby didn’t take to the soother particularly well, but he’s still refusing a bottle at 8 months - any progress made however small has been helpful!

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes, I would - the detail on minimal impact on oral health was very reassuring.

Air soother 18 months +
I like that they come in a steriliser box. It’s handy to store them in when you’re out and about to keep them clean but also really good that you then use it to sterilise them.
the soothers looked cute with the animal designs on them and they look sturdy and well made. Good quality

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
I use soothers with my baby/toddler for naps and night time and she dribbles a lot when she is teething so I wanted to try the air soothers out to see if they helped with preventing the dribble building up and potentially making her skin sore.
She also had COVID when I did during the testing period and I found she favoured these soothers when she was congested

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
she seemed to like them and found them quite tactile because of the gaps and would hold it in bed as she was feeling asleep if she wasn’t actually using it
I like that they are sturdy and good quality. I’m not worried about bits breaking off etc

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
Yes. I already used them for naps and night time and have used MAM brand soothers in the past so would continue to do so

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
Yes. I think the air flow design is a really good idea and I find these and other MAM soothers I’ve used in the past to be good quality and my child always goes back to them whereas she has occasionally refused other soothers of different shapes

1. Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
   We tested the MAM Comfort soother 2-6 months.

2. Why did you want to try out the soother?
   We love MAM as a brand as we use their bottles anyway. I was intrigued to try a new type of soother they offer as we use a couple of types already and knew my son would take to MAM dummies.

What did you and your baby use the soother for?
Settling at night time, while waiting for a bottle or out on pram walks.

3. What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
   How soft the silicone was it felt lovely. I also loved the colour. And I like the fact a standard dummy clip could be used on the handle.

4. Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
   We will continue to use MAM soothers in general but unfortunately this one didn't quite work for us - the teat seemed a little too small for my son so he spat it out a lot and milk residue would get into the teat itself (I'm not sure how but it hasn't happened with the other type of MAM soothers we have - so can only think it's happened due to the design)

I may try a bigger size for my son at some point as we did love how soft it was.

5. Would you recommend this soother to other parents? To be honest I wouldn't recommend this particular Comfort one purely based on our own experience of it, but I've found all other MAM soothers to be excellent that my son takes to. We also use the bottles and happy to recommend the brand overall.

12-18 month Original Night soother.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

Baby uses dummies for sleep. She found these great due to the 'glow in the dark' feature, which meant she could always find them when she lost one in her sleep.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

The glow in the dark feature! So useful. Self-sterilising feature was also great and ensured these were truly portable!

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes. We'd used MAM soothers before and baby prefers them to other brands we'd tried.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Air soother 12-18 months. I loved the design, of both the soother and the design printed onto it.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

he already uses MAM soothers but the original design. He loved these just as much and as a result I will definitely be buying more like these. He uses it for bedtimes and sometimes other times if he’s upset etc.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

he loved it and accepted it straight away. I really liked the way they looked and how easy they are to clean.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes definitely. He loves them, can’t think of any negative points about it at all.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes definitely!!

the original night soother
first impression was that the soothers looked a lot bigger than the 0-6 month ones. Nice designs and packaging.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

my LO has outgrown the 0-6 month MAM soothers (which he loves) so thought we would try the next size up. We use it for nap times and bed time.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

it fits his mouth/face so much better and he can keep it in his mouth easily. It also appears to be breathable due to the small holes so no marks or rashes left on his face after use.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

yes, I will keep using these as my LO likes them, they really help to settle him off to sleep.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes 100%, only soothers we have ever got on with have been MAM ones

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it? We tested the Original Silicone Night Soother (2 to 18 months), our first impressions were that it was very pretty and well made

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for? To try give you feeding my 1 year old at night.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested? She likes to play with it but unfortunately is not interesting in sucking it. I like that it is pretty

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why? No, she is not interested in it’s purpose, she loves the boob to much!

Would you recommend this soother to other parents? Yes but with a much younger baby (If they’ll take it)

My baby has a soother to sleep, we already use mam soothers so wanted to try their newest design

he had really discovered his hands lately I think he likes the little handle and being able to take his soother in and out himself.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

air soother 6 months. The dummies were well made, nice colour and look to them. Love the case that it comes in can be used to sterilise the dummy.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

We use MAM bottles so wanted to try the dummies also mainly used for sleep and comfort we do try to avoid using during awake periods.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

allowed air to circulate and prevent irritation.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

yes would use again, helped settle my baby and helped his skin.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
we tested the comfort soother. First impressions, I liked the design, nice colours, and no ring for baby to get his hand stuck on

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
I was really hoping this would help me step away from baby. He’s breastfed and likes to comfort suck between meals. Unfortunately while he liked sucking it, it was only if I was willing to hold it in place for him.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
nice design. Packaging means it’s easy to throw in a bag and keep clean. It just hasn’t worked for us the way we hoped (yet)

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
We will probably give them another go in a week or two to see if he’s able to keep it in place for himself.

MAM Comfort Soother

What were your first impressions of it?
Nice colours (blue/green) with a simple, modern design. The transparent centre/teat took a bit of getting used to!

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
We have used a MAM soother since birth and I've been really pleased, especially as I've been successfully breastfeeding alongside. I was keen to try a different style to see if they suited us even better. I mostly used these Comfort at night time, as I liked using something softer overnight.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
I loved how soft and gentle these are, as well as being hygienic and easy to clean

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
Yes, definitely. These soothers are well designed and excellent quality

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

we tried the comfort soother 2-6. First impressions were of a pretty slick looking one piece soother that was light and the test was similar to the MAM bottles we were already using for our son.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

our son was starting to such on his fist/fingers to soothe himself for daytime naps, so we thought the dummy was a better alternative that would be easier to wean him off in future. Can’t take away his fingers after all!

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

When he took to it, it was almost instantly soothing for him and helped him settle down. I liked the one piece design which meant there was clean up

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

yes definitely. Not as an everyday solution, but to help my son learn to settle himself on fussy days.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes, but the price point is a little off putting considering the price of comparable soothers. I probably would not have paid almost £10 for a pair of soothers has this not been a product testing.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Air Soother. I like MAM dummies normally but the design on these screamed boy and I would have preferred something more neutral

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for? My son uses dummies for sleep. Having just turned one we wanted to see how the larger size would suit him.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested? Good quality, useful case and orthodontic

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why? Yes although we are trying to move away from them now

Would you recommend this soother to other parents? Yes, I recommend this to my baby group when the babies were small.

1.Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Comfort Soother 2 to 6 months. The soother was lightweight and a compact design.

2.Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try out the soother as I use Mam bottles and have found them amazing so although I was reluctant about pacifiers I knew Mam was a brand I could trust. These Mam soothers are a lifesaver. Nothing would settle my baby when he was teething and I was very reluctant to try a pacifier due to having a negative impression of them but after doing some research I thought I would give these a go.

3.What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

My baby was really struggling and this soother made the difference between him getting a goodnights sleep and waking up constantly crying. I love that it comes with a handy box which can be used to sterilise the soothers in the microwave. The box easily fits into a nappy bag for on the go and the pack comes with 2 soothers so if 1 gets dropped while out and about you can just swap it for a clean, sterilised one. The soother has a built in handle that you can easily attach a clip too which was very helpful.

4.Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes, definitely, such a good product and my baby really liked it.

5.Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

I would recommend this soother to anyone, Mam is a brand you can trust with great products at affordable prices.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Air 12+. I thought they looked very big, both the teat and the external bit. The pictures were nice but the colours a bit bland. The plastic looked cheap and like it might snap rather than bend. Also, I prefer dummies with a ring as it makes it easier to attach a clip to them.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

The brand/ type of dummy that we used with my eldest and still use with my youngest is increasingly difficult and expensive to get hold of so we're looking for an alternative. The dummy was used in rotation with the dummies we had already, to settle him to sleep and calm him when he's grizzly or upset during the day.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

He accepted it straightaway and didn't even seem to notice it was any different.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes, we were using them already.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes, my baby readily accepted them.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

The Air, loved the colour palette and shape of teat

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

As love the MAM brand and wanted something to help settle at night rather than wanting boob for comfort as he isnt hungry and gets frustrated milk comes out.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

Loved that it was similar to breastfeeding and he took it no issues!

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes, great quality and love the colour palette

1. I tested mam comfort soother 2-6 months
2. I wanted to try it out as we had a mam soother 0-2 months that my daughter loved, but had outgrown and wanted to see if she'd enjoy other mam products
3. We loved that it was softer and not made out of rigid plastic. Baby was soothed by sucking it and didn't spit it out and reject it, like with other brands
4. I'd use mam soothers, but not this particular design, as I didn't like the clear bit on it- you can see right into baby's mouth and it looks a bit strange!
5. Not this style, but definitely mam products

We received these dummies to try out . We had high hopes for them and the design and colours where very attractive. Unfortunately our baby hated them and spat them out immediately so we can't even post a pic of her with them . I'm sure some babies live them but not ours

Due to reflux we have used a soother since 8 weeks wanted to try the air one as he is currently teething with lots of dribble.
3)What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested? The shape suited him really well and kept area around the mouth dry, he also liked using the outer as a teething ring
4)Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why? Yes mam had a really nice natural mouth shape,

5)Would you recommend this soother to other parents? Yes ! Love mam soothers the air flow have been really good as he is dribbling so much I even went out and bought them more expensive night time ones
