Created for SOCKSHOP

THIS PRODUCT TEST RECRUITMENT IS NOW CLOSED

We’re recruiting UK-based Mumsnet users with a child aged 1-14 to test SOCKSHOP’s bamboo socks for sensitive feet.

  • Selected testers will receive a pack of SOCKSHOP bamboo socks for one child in their household to test.
  • Testers will be asked to feed back via a thread on Mumsnet and a short survey.
  • All testers who leave their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky tester will win a £100 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Here’s what SOCKSHOP has to say :

“SOCKSHOP understands that sometimes small feet can be sensitive, and conventional toe seams and sock welts can be bulky and tight, often meaning tears and tantrums when it’s time to get dressed. Lessen the stress of your morning routine with our Kids’ Bamboo Socks with Smooth Toe Seams and Comfort Cuffs, designed to be super soft and comfortable against little feet and toes and much loved by kids and parents alike. A range of colours makes this selection of socks perfect for both school days and for playing at home.”

If you’re interested in taking part, sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

We got ours last week and was pleasantly surprised to find 5 pairs of these socks. We received black ones. Dd is hooked already 😊 she’s 10 and in a size 4 shoe and she immediately tried them on and loved how soft they were and wore a pair to school the next day even though she has worn grey in winter and white in summer for the whole time she has been in her school ( now in year 6 )
Out of curiosity I tried a pair on and I have huge feet, a big 8, bordering on 9 and they fit me too as they’re just so stretchy.

Looking forward to giving feedback and will definitely be buying some in other colours.

  1. What was your/your child's favourite thing about the socks?

The socks are lovely and soft, with no seams so easy and lovely to wear. They wash well too.

  1. What did you think of the packaging in which the socks arrived?

It was fine - as I expected.

  1. Have you visited the SOCKSHOP website over the course of the test? If so, how did you find the experience?

No

  1. Is there anything about the socks that you would change?

No I thought they were comfortable and good quality material. They were lovely and soft so my daughters liked wearing them.

  1. Are there any additional colours or styles that you think would be a good addition to SOCKSHOP's range of kids' bamboo socks?

I would like grey, navy, green, dark green - those kind of colours.

I wasn't aware of this going ahead but bamboo socks have made my life a little simpler. My 11 year old asd and pdaer has had huge sensory problems with socks forever. I tried bamboo socks recently and they are amazing. Life is not as stressful as it was on school mornings now!!

This sounds really interesting. I have 2 children in this bracket who would love to try them out
