Recruitment for this product test is now closed.

We’re looking for 60 Mumsnet users who are looking to paint a wall or room in their house within the next 2 to 3 weeks to test Crown easyclean paint. This product test is open to all Mumsnetters with at least one child aged between 1 and 10.

Here’s what Crown has to say: “With over 50 colours to choose from our easyclean® range has been independently tested for the best stain and scrub resistance. With a no shine finish, washable paint is perfect for busy homes. Easyclean paint can be wiped-clean to keep homes looking their best.”

Selected testers will receive 5L Crown easyclean paint in a colour of their choice and will need to use the paint to decorate a wall or room in their house. To see the full selection of colours available please click here.

If you are selected to be a tester, we will email you on Thursday 10th September to ask which colour paint you would like to test. Selected testers will need to use the paint at some point within a 10 day period, so please only sign up to take part if you'll be able to use the paint between roughly the 19th and 28th September. You will then be asked to give your feedback via a thread on Mumsnet and a short survey by the 30th September.

All testers who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

Yes please. I'm going to redecorate my teenage sons bedroom. It is currently magnolia on all walls and really boring.
I have no idea what colour to paint it as they both have different ideas.

onitlikeacarbonnet · 07/09/2020 21:05

Yes please! I was just staring at my dining room wall (which doubled as a classroom recently) and lamenting the grubbiness. It would be a wonderful place to begin the transformation.

polkadotpjs · 07/09/2020 21:06

Me please. Two kids and a dog. Walls very grubby in hall and bedroom and lounge!!

nevernotstruggling · 07/09/2020 21:19

flowersfromheaven · 08/09/2020 07:45

Perfect timing as I am ready to do my kitchen walls ready for my new flooring

SweetPeaPods · 08/09/2020 11:24

Would love to try. Perfect timing as about to decorate all of down stairs. With 2 boys under 8 the hand prints are unbearable

ginnybag · 08/09/2020 11:44

Ooo, yes please. I have a lobby that is awful for scuffs, marks, finger prints. I've been avoiding repainting but it desperately needs doing.

DragonmotherKhaleesi · 08/09/2020 11:45

Yes please! Our hallway is desperate!

Monstermuncher · 08/09/2020 11:49

Yes please! I desperately need to repaint my hallway and stairs as the walls have developed some strange marks that won't clean off.

dadshere · 08/09/2020 18:55

Absolutely perfect timing! We are looking to paint our dd's bedroom and the hallway rightnow! The walls are prepped and ready to go, just need a weekend free to do it, so we can absolutely do it in that window.

freefan · 08/09/2020 18:56

Would absolutely love to be chosen as one of your testers for this ideal sounding paint. The Easyclean part would be amazing in here.

Roselilly36 · 08/09/2020 19:03

Yes please, I have just taught, my teen son how to paint, we are hoping too move soon, some vouchers for quality paint would be a dream come true. Good luck everyone.

1969angep · 08/09/2020 19:57

We’ve just finished redecorating our son’s room but are in the zone now so want to redecorate the downstairs bedroom (junk room) into an office as home working looks as though it may be permanent for my dp. With all his office computer equipment attracting the sticky fingered small one we’ll need to paint the room in something durable!

A1z26truth · 09/09/2020 07:47

Yes please 😊 just moved into a house with horrendous colours on the walls - stuff nightmares are honestly made of!
