Nice texture, easy to apply and absorbs well. My daughter found it stung/quite tingly and I also found the same when applying it to her - I have eczema on my hands.

Lovely texture, really creamy and goes into the skin really well. Rubbed in nicely and appeared to provide instant relief from itching.

Sadly not. It did appear to provide relief from the itching and did seem to calm and soothe the affected areas for a very short period of time. However I didn't see any actual improvement in the condition of my son's eczema. This is a shame as it's clearly a lovely product.

He stopped itching instantly, however it didn't improve the eczema overall.

I have never tried the previous one so this was new to me. As mentioned previously, I was really happy with the texture and quality of the product, just disappointed that it didn't improve the eczema overall. I will probably still use this product while I have it, and may use it as a moisturiser when his eczema is not flared up as badly as it has been for the past few weeks.

I found it easy to apply, but greasy, especially on the hands.

Difficult to give a defininitive answer as the kids got chicken pox, so didn't test for the whole period. Will continue to use it once we are clear of it. I do have reservations on some of the ingredients though.

It cleared up the little one's dribble rash around the mouth in a couple of days.

It was smooth and satisfyingly thick without being stick or greasy. The cream was absorbed quickly compared to other creams tried (a minute or two). One thing I loved was the way the dispenser did not put out too much cream as many others do, this is a big bonus in my eyes!

Yes! Her skin is smoother and calmer. It is less itchy too as she used to scratch her neck in her sleep which has stopped since using this balm.

Overnight! I really wasn't expecting this but I could feel on my hands after using it on her how different they felt from the start. By the next morning her dry patches (mainly back of neck and inner elbows) felt less rough to the touch and their were no new scratches so the itch had been taken away too.

It was thick and creamy, and not sticky like a lot of creams we have tried in the past. Dried quickly too.

The skin did clear up after a few applications and is about 70% better but it's stung my son when it was applied for a few minutes.

I've never used it before but did like it, I don't know if I'd buy it myself due to it stinging my sons skin though.

I just want to add although it did sting my son his eczema did actually clear up which is a bonus because none of the other creams seem to work, or I only see a slight improvement. It was brilliant for my skin though, and made my skin really soft and got rid of 100% of my dry skin!

It is smooth and thick, which is what I like to see with an eczema cream. Some are too watery.

No. We couldn't use it as it stung my child's skin as soon as we put it on.

We didn't, as we could not use it due to the stinging. I had to go back to using Zerobase which was prescribed by our GP. That one doesn't sting at all.

1. The texture was great; thick and creamy, soaked in immediately and not greasy.

1. We only had a few small patches of eczema this time but yes it cleared up quickly. However like @LittleBear01's child she said it stung when I put it on the patch around her mouth. This patch is always wet as she licks it, so the skin is more red raw and not as dry as other her eczema patches if that makes sense - so perhaps I wouldn't use it on broken skin

Received this tester to use with my 4 year old son who has horrendous exczema thanks to being riddled with allergies.

1. How did you find the texture and application of the LIPIKAR Balm AP+M body balm?

Really nice. Somehow manages to be rich but doesn't leave a sticky or greasy residue. My son is an absolute arse when it comes to applying cream but he deemed this one acceptable which is very high praise!
It also clearly doesn't sting which is great as many of the 'soothing' creams and balms on the market seem to burn (essential oils or perfume I'm guessing)

Yes, hugely. I'm a bit of a skincare geek when it comes to my own face care and La Roche Posay has always been a trusted brand. I was very impressed with all the good stuff on the ingredients list and it made a massive difference to my son's skin

Maybe a couple of days? He stopped scratching in that time frame which then prompted more healing. Apart from a tiny bit on his wrists (which is still improving but is also up against water play at nursery) the rest of his skin has cleared up an astonishing amount. I'm hoping this means we can bin the hydrocortisone (previously the only effective product for him but I hate using it as it's only a short term fix before thinning the skin and starting the process again)

No. My DD who suffers with mild eczema found the balm induced a slight burning sensation after around 5 minutes. That sensation disappeared quickly but then after a few hours she started itching. We stopped using it after that.
