Recruitment is now closed

OGGS® are looking for 200 Mumsnet users to test their new vegan friendly mini cupcakes. This product test is open to all UK Mumsnet users.

Here’s what OGGS® has to say: “Whether you’re after something a little bit lighter or in need of a bite-sized treat, these marvellous mini cupcakes are the perfect snack for the whole family. Baked using our OGGS® Aquafaba, an all-plant liquid egg substitute made from chickpea water, they are vegan friendly. And at less than 99kcal each and made with less sugar, you don’t have to feel so guilty about scoffing a whole box!”

Selected testers will be sent two 9 packs of OGGS® Mini Vanilla Sponge Cupcakes with Vanilla Frosting and Sprinkles. If selected you’ll need to give your feedback on the cakes by posting on a feedback thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey. All testers who give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’d like to take part, please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

Ours arrived just as my children were finishing lunch. I have two very happy boys, thank you. I'll keep an eye out for the feedback thread.

I've just received an email about them being delayed after my last post! They arrived in perfect condition.

I had that email too and I'm in work, hoping they've been delivered to a neighbour as I was looking forward to trying them over the weekend!

I had the email too.

Gave DS one with lunch. He replied it's not bad but a bit dry. I tried one and it was ok.

Just received ours. My son is anaphylactic to diary and nuts so these are a treat. Will give feedback once we've all tried one. I take it we give feedback on this thread??

Ours arrived today. My 2 year old was happy and demolished 2 straightaway. I think they’ve got a bit of a tingly aftertaste to them.

Mine are at the sorting office I think! I'll have to pick them up tomorrow!

Arrived today. Very tasty but also arrived with no warming - had no idea I'd been selected

Wouldn't have fancied their chances in the sorting office in this heat had we not been in.

Ours arrived today . Yes they are mini but 4.9g of sugar in each one which is almost a teaspoonful ! Very sweet.

Picked mine up from the sorting office. They look like they've been dropped a few times and are a bit battered. Tried one and they're not bad, I like that they're bite sized. Great for a party.

Dh has had around 7 out of the 18! He likes them.

@Groovee Grin I had to stop dh going back for thirds! Ds managed to sneak 4 when I wasn't looking! Obviously takes after his father.

There was uproar when I tried to salvage what was left and put them in the cupboard. I was planning on taking some to a bbq tomorrow Hmm

These have been a hit and I'll be looking out for other flavours to buy for special occasions.

@mummy2pickle they are made in a factory that handles dairy - not sure if this would be dangerous for your son? Just saw your comment and remember seeing on the form that they are made in a factory that handles dairy and eggs

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
I thought they tasted amazing. Like a cake made with dairy, I even had to double check that they were in fact dairy free. I thought the buttercream was beautiful. Definitely my favourite vegan cake so far.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
I think they would be good for a children's party due to their size, but I would purchase them just to keep in the fridge for nibbling.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
They are unique, I have not spotted another brand producing dairy free sponge cakes.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
Yes I would, I would recommend them to my vegan friends especially.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?

Yes!!
