Recruitment is now closed

OGGS® are looking for 200 Mumsnet users to test their new vegan friendly mini cupcakes. This product test is open to all UK Mumsnet users.

Here’s what OGGS® has to say: “Whether you’re after something a little bit lighter or in need of a bite-sized treat, these marvellous mini cupcakes are the perfect snack for the whole family. Baked using our OGGS® Aquafaba, an all-plant liquid egg substitute made from chickpea water, they are vegan friendly. And at less than 99kcal each and made with less sugar, you don’t have to feel so guilty about scoffing a whole box!”

Selected testers will be sent two 9 packs of OGGS® Mini Vanilla Sponge Cupcakes with Vanilla Frosting and Sprinkles. If selected you’ll need to give your feedback on the cakes by posting on a feedback thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey. All testers who give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’d like to take part, please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

We’d love to test these. Happy they are egg free as it’s something we struggle to find.

Done.l, on behalf of dairy-free DS.

Though yes, maybe advertise as not gluten free.

Wow I'd love to try these, it's so hard to find reasonably priced vegan treats in supermarkets and these look "normal" so I'd love to show friends and family what "rabbit food" looks like 😂

It’s a no from me. Does vegan need to mean industrial food? I get the chickpea water, but the long list of emulsifiers and thickeners is a complete turn-off, I’m afraid.

“Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium, Iron, Thiamin, Niacin), Soya Milk (Water, Hulled Soya Beans), Vegetable Oil (Sustainable Palm, Rapeseed), Icing Sugar (Sugar, Maize Starch), Sugar Oggs® Aquafaba (4.5%) (Water, Chickpeas), Glycerine, Water, Sugar Decorations [Sugar, Rice Flour, Cocoa Butter, Thickener (Tragacanth), Safflower Concentrate, Spirulina Concentrate, Beetroot Juice Concentrate, Colours (Riboflavin, Mixed Carotenes, Anthocyanins)], Soya Protein, Natural Flavourings, Modified Starch, Maize Starch, Raising Agents (E450, Potassium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, E516), Salt, Dextrose, Emulsifiers (E477, E471, E481, E475), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Wheat Gluten, Stabiliser (Xanthan Gum), Colour (Lutein, Annatto, Curcumin), Acid (Citric Acid)”

Received our cupcakes to day and they’re delicious. Only thing is I had no idea we’d been selected. No email or anything, got a shock when the postman handed me a parcel.
