Lidl are looking for 250 UK Mumsnetters with a baby or toddler to try out their range of Lupilu nappies. Selected testers will be sent their choice of the following:

Size 1 Newborn Nappies 24 pack x 3
Size 2 Newborn Mini Nappies 44 pack x 2
Size 3 Midi (4-9kg) 56 pack x 1
Size 4 Maxi (7-18kg) 50 pack x 1
Size 4+ Maxi Plus (9-20kg) 44 pack x 1
Size 5+ Junior Plus (13-27kg) 36 pack x 1
Size 6+ Extra Large Plus (16+kg) 26 pack x 1

Here’s what Lidl have to say about the products: “Lidl knows the most important things when choosing a nappy are dryness, protection and comfort. That's why we ensure ultimate dryness and leakage protection, and last year Mumsnetters asked for a wetness indicator on size 1 Newborn Nappies, so we added one! Plus our nappies have a magical tube so that the diaper forms a cup and fits better to the body of the baby.”

“There is no need to pay a premium price for a premium nappy, our prices are low but our quality is high. Our nappies are dermatologically tested, latex free, skin-friendly and independently tested. Protecting the environment is also important, therefore the padding used is from sustainably managed forests. The slim design means less materials, less packaging and less energy, helping to minimise our carbon footprint.”

All selected testers will be required to leave their feedback by posting on a thread on Mumsnet and by completing a short feedback survey.

Testers who give feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw, where one lucky tester will receive a £100 worth of Lidl vouchers (note: the winner will be sent 4x £25 vouchers, one voucher can be redeemed per transaction).

Please note, the test will take place over the next few weeks so please only apply if you're around and willing to give feedback then.

If you’d like to take part then please add your details here.

Thanks

Nappies arrived and to my shame I couldn't find my front door key, courier passed package through the front window 😂😵

Have to say, I love the little animal designs on the front, different on each nappy. My DD is a pain to change usually but I gave her an option (elephant or rabbit this change) which made it a little easier

VileyRose · 29/03/2018 18:55

Mine arrived too. The pull ups are plain bit feel soft.

revelsandrose · 29/03/2018 19:29

Mine have arrived thank you. They look good. Very similar to pampers, nice design on them too.

ScribbleWibble · 30/03/2018 15:16

I've not received mine yet, anyone else waiting still?

fraggle84 · 31/03/2018 08:39

Ours haven’t arrived yet either

VileyRose · 31/03/2018 10:43

Lovely so far

NoParticularPattern · 31/03/2018 18:46

Mine are also yet to arrive! Was told it would be by the 30th but nothing so far!!

Patienceofatoddler · 31/03/2018 19:37

Ours have arrived- Havnt dated use them at night yet but during the day we have found them comparable to pampers - Which has surprised me.

:-)

The animal designs are actually quite cute.

jessieb887 · 31/03/2018 22:32

Mine aren't here either Sad

whereareyousleep · 02/04/2018 14:29

Mine haven't arrived yet either

revelsandrose · 02/04/2018 17:59

Well I've been using mine since the day they arrived as I was about to go shopping and buy some that day.
I love them. They are most similar to pampers in my opinion. Very soft and comfortable, used during the day and night, and we are just starting to introduce some cows milk as he's allergic and they've dealt admirably with the resulting loose nappies.
I will definitely buy these. I think so much better than Aldi which I just can't use and softer and thinner than Tesco and asda own brand which I usually plump for.

r0ck · 02/04/2018 20:43

I haven't received ours yet either

MoNigheanDonn · 03/04/2018 09:41

Nappies have arrived this morning

EsmeeMerlin · 03/04/2018 10:12

Have yet to receive the nappies also

123bananas · 03/04/2018 11:04

Just arrived by courier here too.

SweetPeaPods · 05/04/2018 19:14

Nappies just came the other day here too. Is there a feedback thread yet?

Amanduh · 05/04/2018 22:02

We’ve got ours too but no open feedback thread?

NoParticularPattern · 06/04/2018 10:58

Ours also arrived the other day. Awaiting a feedback thread!

NoParticularPattern · 06/04/2018 11:00

Although that said apparently I should have 2x newborn size 2 (44) not just the one? Unless I’ve read the initial post wrong? Was wondering how I was supposed to test for a fortnight with 44 nappies haha!!

Mammyloveswine · 06/04/2018 12:39

Ive got my pull ups... very soft! They remind me of pampers in that they dont mask the smell of urine when wet... i dont know if anyone else had that with pampers?

LexieLulu · 06/04/2018 17:56

I'm actually liking home thin these are. My DD bum does not look as padded in leggings.

The sizing is a little smaller than others I have tried. I wouldn't say it's off, they fit DD, but the waist straps aren't as close together as other nappies when worn

StylishDuck · 08/04/2018 19:17

Mine arrived late last week. I like the animal design (so does DD) and they do feel quite light and soft. I can't see any immediate advantage over pampers though they're probably a lot cheaper. I would definitely be convinced to swap.

GimbleInTheWabe · 09/04/2018 22:30

Got through all of my size 4s now. I liked them, and they were certainly softer than the Naty one we usually use, but I really didn't like the smell of them. Anyway ready to give my feedback when the thread comes up!

NoParticularPattern · 10/04/2018 01:38

I’m through all my size 2s so I am also ready for the feedback thread! I like them- they’re super soft and my LG hasn’t had a sore bum in them which she has previously in some disposable nappies. They are very similar to pampers I find. I wish I could get these ones in my local Lidl- they only have a slightly different lupilu size 2 which isn’t nearly as soft!!

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 10/04/2018 12:53

Also ready to give feedback, just waiting g for the thread
