Lidl are looking for 280 UK Mumsnetters with a baby or toddler to try out their range of nappies. Selected testers will be sent their choice of the following

Size 1 Newborn Nappies 24 pack x 3
Size 2 Newborn Mini Nappies 44 pack x 2
Size 3 Midi (4-9kg) 56 pack x 1
Size 4 Maxi (7-18kg) 50 pack x 1
Size 4+ Maxi Plus (9-20kg) 44 pack x 1
Size 5+ Junior Plus (13-27kg) 36 pack x 1
Size 6+ Extra Large Plus (16+kg) 26 pack x 1

Here’s what Lidl have to say about the products: “Lidl knows the most important things when choosing a nappy are dryness, protection and comfort. That's why we ensure ultimate dryness and leakage protection, and last year Mumsnetters asked for a wetness indicator on size 1 Newborn Nappies, so we added one!”

“There is no need to pay a premium price for a premium nappy, our prices are low but our quality is high. Our nappies are dermatologically tested, latex free, skin-friendly and independently tested. Protecting the environment is also important, therefore the padding used is from sustainably managed forests. The slim design means less materials, less packaging and less energy, helping to minimise our carbon footprint.”

If selected, we’d like you to give feedback by completing a survey and posting on a feedback thread and completing a survey about the nappies. You’ll also need to leave a review on our reviews section of Mumsnet.

Testers who give feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw, where one lucky tester will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Please note, the test will take place over the next few weeks so please only apply if you're around and willing to give feedback then.

If you’d like to take part then please add your details here.

Thanks

Ooh yes please. Currently using Tesco with my 7 week old as they can be delivered with the shopping but I'd be willing to pop into lidl if their nappies are good :)

Cagliostro · 13/12/2017 06:39

Is there a size guide for the two newborn sizes? I've gone for size two as she's 10lb 1oz currently and we were just about to move up to size two Tesco so hopefully lidl sizing is the same?

AnnMumsnet · 13/12/2017 10:28

Size one is 4-11lbs and size 2 is 6-13lbs so think size 2 will be best for your LO. - thanks!

Thanks ann :)

SprinkleOfInsanity · 13/12/2017 12:58

Applied (for newborn size 2).

Royalsteph · 13/12/2017 13:43

I've applied but think I've asked for size two. Newborn dd is still tiny so will be in size one for a while

31weeksgone · 13/12/2017 23:53

Have applied to take part :-)

Usernamegone · 14/12/2017 05:18

@annmumsnet I’m due on the 9th Jan. would this be too late for the trial?

ememem84 · 14/12/2017 08:51

Applied. I’ve heard amazing things about Lidl Nappies. But can’t buy them here as we have no Lidl store (I live in jersey) I think my closest Lidl is either a 4 -10 hour ferry crossing or an hours flight away. Sad face.

hamburgers · 14/12/2017 09:36

@AnnMumsnet forgot to add we’re in need of size 1 newborn nappies Smile

Has anyone else received an email saying they've been selected?

GimbleInTheWabe · 21/12/2017 18:31

Nope @thenewaveragebear1983, have you?

HerrHerrHerr · 21/12/2017 18:36

I had an email saying I am selected, think it was yesterday.

GimbleInTheWabe · 21/12/2017 18:46

I guess I wasn't selected then. Strange though considering MN said they needed more newborns and my DS is only 10 weeks old (is that still considered newborn?! I don't know Confused)

thenewaveragebear1983 · 21/12/2017 19:34

Yes I was, mine's not a newborn though, we've requested size 6!!!

AnnMumsnet · 22/12/2017 12:17

Sorry for any confusion - you'd said you wanted size 3 and we were specifically after a few more folks who wanted sizes 2 and 1.

GimbleInTheWabe · 22/12/2017 13:59

@AnnMumsnet sorry for the confusion. My DS is 10 weeks and wears size 3 Naty nappies but I couldn't see the sizes for the Lidl nappies anywhere so assumed the sizes were universal? He's 13lbs if that makes a difference. Still happy to partake if he's the right size for the 1 or 2 size nappies and you're still recruiting.

MrsMotherHen · 02/01/2018 11:17

Got my nappies today Smile

champagneplanet · 02/01/2018 15:04

My nappies also arrived today, thank you!

SprinkleOfInsanity · 03/01/2018 12:02

Received the (size 2) nappies today, but only one pack of 44 instead of 2.

pinklemonade84 · 03/01/2018 15:18

Mine arrived yesterday Smile

wineandcheeseplease · 03/01/2018 15:59

Mine arrived today and just put one on my daughter

Coffeeorginplease · 03/01/2018 16:46

Ask received mine today but only 1x pack of size 1 not the suggested amount??
