Non-tester. My biggest skin issue is hyperpigmentation. I have always been fair skinned and freckly but as I age (just turned 40!) the freckles are larger and cover more of my face. I never use less than SPF15 on my face - SPF30 during the summer in the UK and SPF50 on holidays abroad but even so, after a sunny day outside I have even more dark patches Sad
At the moment, I just rely on good makeup to cover them up, not sure if there's a way to get rid of them...

Realitea · 31/05/2017 16:09

My biggest issue is my red cheeks! It only started after having dd. It's worst in the mornings when I wake up. How can I make my skin a normal colour again?!

My biggest issue is I seem to suffer with hormonal breakouts on my jaw line. The spots can then also appear on my neck. I try hard not to touch them as this seems to make them worse.

DungballInADress · 31/05/2017 17:31

Tester here.

I've used Liz Earle products before many years ago. The cleanser is great and I liked the bag with it. I normally double cleanse with a clay based cleanser then a micellar water as I have oily skin and wear quite a lot of make up, but using the cleanse and polish means I don't need to; it removes every trace of make up and my skin looks and feels lovely afterwards. I adore the smell and the texture and I think I will purchase this product again. I would award the product 5 out of 5.

The moisturiser was packaged nicely and I liked the insert with instructions for facial massage. I didn't mind the smell too much, could definitely smell the neroli but it wasn't overpowering. It applies nicely and initially didn't feel too rich but I can still feel a greasy "film" on my skin hours later, which I don't like; I'm not sure it's suitable for oilier skins. I've tried using less of it and starting from my neck and working upwards over my face and that seems to help. I would award this product 2.5 out of 5. Tip for Liz Earle product development; an anti-aging natural skincare product for oily skins because they don't exist!

Couple of other things. I used the moisturiser in a pinch while away on holiday. I was out late in the day in the sun and hadn't applied sunscreen. I rarely burn and hadn't anticipated the sun being that strong but ended up with a touch of sunburn. I applied it to my shoulders the following evening and by morning saw a real improvement. Also, any plans to make bottles refillable or to use recycled plastics? I think this is important for a natural brand to consider.

My biggest skincare concern is lack of radiance and dull looking skin. I have especially noticed this becoming more of an issue since I turned 40. I'd love to find some magic products that helped my skin look more radiant again and I've heard the Liz Earle range is good for these issues.

Smallangryplanet · 31/05/2017 17:38

My biggest skin issue is rosacea. It's finally under control but still very sensitive. I love how clean my face feels after I use the hot cloth cleanser. I'd really like to try more of the range.

like7 · 31/05/2017 17:48

The biggest skin issue I have is that my skin always seems shiny - as though I'm sweating.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 31/05/2017 17:51

Non tester. I've used a hot cloth cleanser, (not Liz Earle) but it has made my skin develop some redness and sensitivity. I've tried double cleansing, micellar water and wipes as well, but am still searching for a cleanser that really suits my skin.

chibsortig · 31/05/2017 17:52

Non-tester- my biggest problem is problem skin :( large pores, blackheads and hormonal spots on my t-zone, and now my skin is beginning to show its age with fine lines.

My biggest issues are open pores on my nose
Greasy t-zone
Dry cheeks

I dont have forehead wrinkles, but my crows feet are getting worse. I'm 36

My biggest issue is very high colour and a few thread veins Sad

Consequently, my skin tone looks uneven when I apply foundation and it never seems to stay put either...

Sierra259 · 31/05/2017 18:18

Non-tester. My biggest facial skin issue is probably that I feel it looks quite pasty and dull. I would love something that just freshens/brightens it up a bit!

My biggest problem is my combination skin with dry patches

Gramgram · 31/05/2017 19:01

Non tester. My issue is I seem to need to use a double layer of moisturizer on order for my skin to feel comfortable.

Vonklump · 31/05/2017 19:28

Non tester.
I now have sensitive skin and nearly always have a crop of spots along the crease lines of my cheeks. I've switched products, upped the moisturiser but they're persistent.

My biggest problem is dull tired looking skin, not helped with having a demanding toddler and being pregnant!

My biggest facial skincare issue is hormonal skin - spots at certain times of the month, dry skin at other times. I am not sure if this is due to being peri-menopausal.

Melmo1 · 31/05/2017 20:02

My biggest issue is tired and dehydrated skin. Being a busy mum of two I need to try and find more time to devote to a skin routine.

Coffeechick · 31/05/2017 20:18

The biggest skin issue I face is discoloration on my face

Biggest issue I have is sensitive skin. Such a struggle finding something that doesn't irritate my face. Most annoying is that a lot of facial skincare for sensitive skin has rose in it. Which I react to. Once I find something I tend to stick with it.

defineme · 31/05/2017 20:31

Non-tester biggest facial issue is dull tired looking skin.

SuperSange · 31/05/2017 20:39

I'm a non tester; I'm 45 and suffer from open pores on my cheeks and either side of my nose. I've tried various things to no avail.

crazybutterflylady · 31/05/2017 20:52

Tester

I've used Liz Earle products before - in fact I used cleanse and polish and the toner for months in the run up to my wedding and was really pleased with the results, and recommended it far and wide.

Since then I have had my head turned by other brands (#fickle) and it's maybe 8 or 9 years since I have used it.

The packaging hasn't changed since then and it just shows what a classic and timeless design is used as it doesn't look dated. This is the first time I have used the superskin moisturiser. The packaging is sturdy and feels expensive; it feels like a treat. I disagree with others in that the scent is really appealing to me, I love it. It's sort of herbal/citrus/essential oil type smell (vague I know but it's quite hard to describe). It's really lovely and did not irritate my skin.

At the moment I double cleanse my skin. The first cleanse I tend to use an oil to dissolve make up and then a regular cream cleanser to treat my skin. I used the cleanse and polish as my second cleanse in the evening and my only cleanse in the morning. It's so lovely, it feels cooling and cleansing on the skin and my face definitely felt softer and more healthy after use. I'm really pleased it has been reintroduced to me! I use it around my eyes without any issues.

The superskin moisturiser is a new product for me and it is definitely one I will repurchase after this trial. It's beautiful! I struggle with moisturisers as I have combination skin; some leaves my skin tight and not moisturised enough and some far too heavy. This seems perfect. It's definitely rich and hydrating as you'd expect from a moisturiser but without being cloying or greasy. I only use a small amount which makes it worth the price. The unexpected bonus is that it has left my skin glowing beautifully. It certainly lives up to its "superskin" claims for me.

I've used the products for around 10 days now and I'd rate them 5 starts for everything! Obviously in terms of being suitable for all skin types, I can't really comment, but I have awkward skin and they work for me. I'd happily recommend both. If I had to choose one it would be the moisturiser; I am in love!

CheeseEMouse · 31/05/2017 20:57

Non-tester - really dry flaky skin over the bridge of my nose and eyelids. Horrible :(
