Non tester here.
My main skin problem is massive ( and I mean mahoosive) pores. And pores like to fill up with stuff, so there's that too. My skin is combination, but oddly the oily bits are not where the massive pores are. I stated trying to sort this in the 80s, when the received wisdom was tone with something very astringent, which is when I found out my skin reacts to harsh chemicals. So I favour natural products.

jumie · 08/06/2017 09:33

I am a non-tester. My greatest issue is dark spots. i also have a lot of breakouts.

MakeTeaNotWar · 08/06/2017 12:49

Non-tester - dry and flaky skin esp around my hairline and my scalp. SO GRIM!

userinfinity · 08/06/2017 17:47

Some facial products really dry my skin out

I have oily skin with hormonal outbreaks. I really can't get to midday without looking like I have an oil slick on my face :(

ChasedByBees · 08/06/2017 20:35

Non-tester. I probably don't get enough sleep and I find my skin can be quite dull. I also get red patches which I can usually conceal but it's tricky to find something that lasts.

mbb1 · 08/06/2017 20:42

Non tester - biggest facial skin issue - very prone to spots, but also very sensitive skin which can get dry too easily when using spot creams

annam95 · 08/06/2017 20:50

My issues are combination skin that is sensitive. I have always needed hypoallergenic facial products. Many cosmetic companies assume that sensitive skin must be dry. Finding products that work for me has been a nightmare. Also, products I find work are then 'improved' and give me breakouts so I have to start the search again. I discovered Cleanse and Polish 10 years ago (I am 64 now) and haven't looked back. Please don't change it. I can't use the skin tonic but I use the light moisturiser in the morning and superskin moisturiser at night. I'm very grateful to Liz Earle!

annam95 · 08/06/2017 20:50

Forgot to say. Non tester.

McPie · 08/06/2017 21:23

Non tester Hormonal acne around the chin area which causes ingrown hairs and spots which never seem to clear up!

Hairq · 08/06/2017 21:48

Non-tester:

My biggest facial issue is recurring dry, red patches. My GP says they're not eczema, but they behave in a similar way. I have to really keep on top of cleansing and moisturising to keep them at bay.

Where do I start?Newish knackered headteacher, lack of sleep, long days, lack of time and stressed out. All has taken its toll. Add to the feeling of my skin aging by at least five years in the last two! 😟
Treats needed. 💕💕Skin is dry, wrinkly and as one of my pupils said "Mrswhataway you have crinkles like my granny"* ( and I'm no where near that age! 😉

helcrai · 08/06/2017 22:21

non-tester. My biggest skincare issue is breakouts on my chin, nose and bizarrely on the side of my neck under my ears. These are linked to my monthly cycle I think and I feel I always need a deep cleanse when they appear. I like the sound of the hot cloth cleanser which seems to combine traditional soap an water treatment with a good quality cleanser.

minniebear · 09/06/2017 07:33

Non tester here! I get HUGE pores across my nose and under my eyes, and also quite congested and dehydrated skin on my cheeks...it's an attractive combination!

Belmo · 09/06/2017 10:44

Non tester:
Bit hard to choose my biggest facial issue!! Uneven skin tone, probably- it's randomly red and blotchy in places for no obvious reason! Also feel a bit delicate about first signs of ageing..

Passmethecrisps · 09/06/2017 10:59

Another wee update from me after a good couple of week's use.

While my skin still looks good and I am still pleased with the results I have a feeling that the moisturiser may be too rich for me. Since using it I have developed quite a large number of small white spots round my mouth. They are very tiny but we're not there before so I am sure it is the moisturiser. This is a shame as I do like it.

I am going to give the moisturiser a rest for a few days and see if that eases them.

Pigeonpea · 09/06/2017 11:01

I've never used Liz Earle before, so was delighted to have the opportunity.
Initial thoughts:
Packaging is luxurious and makes you feel like you are using a premium brand. The smell of the moisturiser is just gorgeous, as you put it on, you inhale and feel calmer and brighter. The cream easily absorbs and is non-greasy. Easy to use pot. It's made in Great Britain and does not test/ use animal extract, which makes you also feel good about using it.

After at least a week of use please share

Superskin™ Moisturiser with Natural Neroli
I loved using this product - smells great, feels great, easily absorbed, non greasy cream. It feels luxurious on your skin. I did see that my skin had gotten brighter and calmer throughout use.
Please award how many stars out of five:
A natural product that works - hmm, it does contain natural ingredients, however, it also contains chemicals and I did expect more natural and organic ingredients, so maybe 2/5
Suitable for all skin types 5/5
Simple to use 5/5

Would you recommend the Superskin Moisturiser to your friends?
YES! It's gorgeous

The biggest facial issue I have is a real phobia about not damaging my skin further. I don't want to drag it or pull it and am already concerned about the tiny fine lines at the corners of my eyes. I've got maturing fair skin and don't want to do the wrong thing as I'm sure there would be no going back. I'm always on the hunt for the holy grail of techniques/products.

Had so many issues finding skincare products that don't cause an allergic reaction

Epicem · 09/06/2017 20:05

Enlarged pores and starting to see fine wrinkles! 😫

daisyduke66 · 09/06/2017 20:41

My biggest facial skin issue is skin dryness. This is at different levels at different times of the year but is always an issue!

beckyinman · 09/06/2017 21:26

Non tester - when I was a teenager my skin was fine and when I hit my 30s I started to get really deep rooted, almost cystic lumpy spots. My dad has rosacea so I wonder whether this is related

Flic2702 · 09/06/2017 21:36

My biggest facial issue is spots, especially on my nose, where it can sometimes feel quite greasy.I love the hot cloth cleanser,it makes my skin feel so soft and smooth after use.

JemIsMyNameNooneElseIsTheSame · 09/06/2017 22:11

Non tester: dark circles and wrinkles under the eyes.

Feltedbump · 09/06/2017 22:24

Non tester. Biggest facial skin issue is rosacea/eczema - normally it affects my neck and stops before it gets to my face, but it does knock my confidence and affect how I look. It is made worse in the sun which is difficult as I like to get out in the garden with the kids.
Would love to try the products after seeing this feedback!
