The team at Aunt Bessie’s has asked us to recruit 250 Mumsnetters to try out their Homestyle frozen roast potato range.

Here’s what they say: “We've selected the finest potatoes to create our delicious Homestyle Roasts. Crispy on the outside, fluffy and light on the inside, they’re perfect for your family roast. Simply pop them in the oven for 35 minutes for perfect roasties every time”.

Selected testers will each be sent four £1 vouchers, allowing them to buy two bags of Aunt Bessie’s frozen roast potatoes, available in Tesco, Sainsbury’s , Morrisons, Co-op, Waitrose and Ocado.

Testers will then try the potatoes over a one week period and will be asked to share their feedback on a thread on MN and by completing a short feedback survey. If you’re feeling brave, you can post some photos of your recipes on the feedback thread, too!
N.B. the survey and feedback will need to be completed by 14th March at the latest – products will be sent out w/c 29th Feb. Please only apply if you’re around during this time and are able to test the potatoes and share feedback then.

Selected testers who add feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £300 John Lewis voucher.

If you’d like to take part, please sign up here www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/3MW3LVD and we will be in touch with those selected soon.

Thanks and good luck

Not me....again Hmm

Scone1nSixtySeconds · 03/03/2016 11:37

Yum! Looking forward to them here!

ProfYaffle · 03/03/2016 15:57

Vouchers arrived today - MNHQ e-mail fished out of the trash folder Blush Looking forward to trying them.

VeganCow · 04/03/2016 09:41

Got mine yesterday, picked the mini ones up by mistake as couldn't read the small print Blush on the vouchers without glasses. So make sure you pick up the 907g pack of standard rather than the smaller bag of mini roasts or the larger bag of big roasts.

originalmavis · 04/03/2016 09:43

I got a voucher today! I didn't get an email so it was a nice surprise. DS was most excited.

mogloveseggs · 04/03/2016 10:40

No email here but voucher came through the post yesterday. Thanks for picking us. When we're not snowed in i'll go get them Grin

Voucher came today! Can't wait to try

ProfYaffle · 04/03/2016 17:06

Thanks for the tip VeganCow, that was useful! Picked up my potatoes, though the vouchers perplexed the Tesco staff. Reading glasses were produced and they finally let me go on my way.

pigsinmud · 07/03/2016 09:21

Is there a feedback thread? I'm ready to give my views. Also had a bit of an issue with the vouchers. Waitrose were a bit sniffy about them and it was complicated by the fact they were on offer - they didn't know at what price to put the voucher through the till.

foxessocks · 07/03/2016 12:45

Got mine from asda and although the lady in the till did have to ask her supervisor for help it was dealt with very quickly and all fine.

I'm going to try mine tomorrow I think!

amysmum18 · 07/03/2016 12:52

I've had my voucher and am ready to give feedback, but struggling to find the thread to do this?? x
