Here at MNHQ we have been asked to find 250 Mumsnetters to try out Visqueen Ultimate bin liners ahead of its UK launch in March. Excitingly, MNers will be among the first in the UK to be able to try these out, as they are not yet available on the market. Grin

The team behind Visqueen Ultimate say “What makes Visqueen Ultimate so special is the strength and tear resistance of the bags in their range – making Visqueen Ultimate the toughest bin bags made available in the UK”.

Selected testers will receive a pack of 40 x 30 or 50 litre capacity draw string bin liners to try out in their homes (RRP £4.24 for 30 litre and £8.48 for 50 litre). Testers will be offered the choice of size, subject to availability. Bags will be sent out to arrive on March 1st and you will need to be around for a couple of weeks to put them through their paces and to share feedback.

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters who have at least one child in their household. Selected testers will be sent the Visqueen Ultimate bin liners and will be asked to test them over a two week period.

Testers will be required to leave their feedback on a thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey.
All testers who complete all forms of feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will win a £300 Amazon voucher.

If you’re interested and would like to take part, please sign up here www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8GCCFDC.

We will be in touch with selected testers soon.

Thanks
MNHQ

have any of the testers got their bags yet? I thought we were meant to have them by now, but nothing here.

ZaneMumsnet · 11/03/2016 09:11

Hi all.

Just to let you know I've been in touch with the company and there's been a delay in sending out the bin liners. You should all receive them next week, but I will of course keep you posted on any updates as I hear them. :)

coffeeisnectar · 13/03/2016 09:59

I'm ready to take the first full bag out of the bin but waiting for the feedback thread. I also need to do the cat litter test.

MrsSchadenfreude · 13/03/2016 22:53

Ho yes, we'll be doing the cat litter test here too! First bag will go in tomorrow...

spoddie · 14/03/2016 17:37

Mine arrived today - first one installed in the bin. So far so good Smile

Is there s feedback thread yet?

AndNowItsSeven · 15/03/2016 01:29

I have the bin liners , dh was thrilled he has a love hate relationship with bin liners. I didn't receive an email so when I opened the parcel I initially thought it was a strange belated valentines gift.
Is there a feedback thread?

PurpleCrazyHorse · 15/03/2016 08:50

Already loving the bin liners, first one full and emptied Grin

TooAswellAlso · 15/03/2016 16:58

Did have an email so was a suprise to pick these up from the post office - lady laughed when we found out what it was as I had no clue and she was all excited at a secret gift Grin

Used the first one to put some old light fittings in and I'm really impressed.

Am little disappointed they aren't black though! Is that weird?!

ButterIsAngelSpunk · 15/03/2016 21:35

Was somewhat excited to find a parcel left on my doormat when I arrived home yesterday, at it was my birthday last Thursday. Alas, unless someone is playing a cruel joke on me, I have been picked for this product test.

Have installed first bag - blimey I think these things could survive a nuclear war, never mind a few soggy teabags and broken egg shells. First impressions are v. good indeed!

PeopleOnTheEdgeOfTheNight · 16/03/2016 21:01

I have only used one so far. They are extremely strong, nicely wrapped, definitely better than anything else I've tried. I use a small kitchen bin which I don't feel warrants the extra strength of these bags. They seem strong enough for heavy and broken items. For anyone using a tall kitchen bin the extra strength would probably be useful.

ScarlettDarling · 17/03/2016 17:24

Still waiting for the feedback thread.

V impressed so far...these bags are indestructible!!

Jitterybug · 17/03/2016 18:44

They are fab, I never knew how much I needed stronger bags until now.

coffeeisnectar · 17/03/2016 19:04

Waiting for a feedback thread!

happylittlevegemites · 17/03/2016 19:57

Also after a feedback thread!! Bags seen good ... But too narrow at the top for our bin. Despite that, I'd consider buying them if I could find a better size.

Callico · 18/03/2016 16:53

So far so good. They fit my bin like a glove and have withstood the ultimate test...Cleaning out the kids bedrooms!!
