This is the feedback thread for the MN testers who are trying out our snazzy new app for all things new baby.

The app is available in iTunes here

"Helping new parents through the first two years of parenthood, Mumsnet Baby Bundle sponsored by Nurofen for Children is the mobile toolkit that has it all! Mumsnet Baby Bundle is a one-stop app for new parents looking for information, support and a place to keep track of everything to do with their baby, from feeding patterns and nap times to measurements and doctors’ appointments. It’s packed full of free features to make your first experience of parenting as stress-free as possible."

There are several elements available for free on the app - and the pro version is available for a free trials for 7 days - after this free trial period ends, users would have an automatic enrolment into monthly auto-renewable subscription at £1.49/month (can be cancelled at any time)

Testers - please share with us below:

What aspects of the Mumsnet Baby Bundle app did you find most useful?
Would you recommend it to other parents? Why?
What else would you like to see in the app?
How easy or difficult was it to use?
Any other comments?

All testers who take part and who add feedback as requested, will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £300 John Lewis voucher. Don't forget to also add your review here

Thanks and good luck

Thanks for your patience over the last few days while we have been attempting to resolve the issues that some of you have experienced with TestFlight. We have now received responses to some reoccurring problems from the Baby Bundle team:

General Advice

  1. Check that you are using a 24hr time format on their device

  2. Check that you are signed into their iTunes account on their device

  3. We will then re-send TestFlight invitations to all testers at around 10am today (Tuesday 16th February).

  4. If you did download the app but experienced issues once inside, you should delete the app on your device before redownloading from TestFlight.

Specific Advice

  • My invite code has expired –This can happen when your device is on a 12hr time format make sure you are on 24hr format by going to Settings > General > Date & Time on your device.
  • I can't unlock pro features-make sure that you are signed into your iTunes account with your Apple ID on your device by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store > then clicking on Apple ID. If this still doesn't work, you should delete the app then reinstall from TestFlight.

-I can’t complete my baby’s profile - A WiFi or 3G connection is required to create a baby's profile, but if this isn't the case then it may be down to TestFlight's environment and we will need to ask you to first restart the app by double-tapping the Home button on your device and swiping-up, and if that fails, redownloading the app from TestFlight.

-I’ve been charged £1.49 - We can guarantee 100% that no money is taken from testers. The cost notification explains that beta testers are not charged.

We hope that this advice will solve any problems that you are experiencing, but please get in touch if you are still having problems after following this advice.

Hi j3nnif3r1 ,

I have sent you a message to help you sort out the issue with the charges, as you definitely shouldn't be being charged as a tester. We'll help you sort this out. Smile

Thanks,
