We have been asked by the team at Genius to find five MNers who would like to test their range of their products and recipes, and also receive tips on nutrition and exercise from Olympic athlete Greg Rutherford.

They are looking for folks who would consider themselves to be foodies; who enjoy cooking, being healthy and trying new things. Participants should have at least one child aged 3 years or older and ideally be the sort who tries to incorporate health and fitness into their weekly routine.

Selected testers will be sent:

~ a meal plan from Genius with a selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options for the whole family to enjoy across seven days (w/c 19 October, please only apply if you're around that week and able to add feedback on MN/ try the meal plan then). You can see some of the possible recipes here
~ vouchers to cover the cost of the meals for the week (for the supermarket local to the tester) - max value £100
~ tips from Greg Rutherford on nutrition and exercise to complement meal plan

Although all recipe options will be gluten free, there's no need for participants to be coeliac of live a gluten light lifestyle to enjoy this challenge, it's for everyone!

In return, MNers will be asked to share feedback, ideally daily, about their meals and activity for the day, on a thread on MN - this will be live for 7 days w/c 19 October. We'd also love to see some photos on the thread of the food you create using the recipes.

As a thank you, all MNers who take part will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer who adds feedback as required will win a £200 voucher for Love2Shop.

If you'd like to take part, please add your details here www.surveymonkey.com/r/LWQSRNQ

Thanks and good luck!

Crossing EVERYTHING!! Grin I really hope it's us who are chosen :)

I'm Greg's partner, Susie (hi) and Greg's involved with this because we live a gluten free lifestyle so it's not just a case of his name promoting the brand for the sake of it.
We both suffer from IBS and found over the years changing to gf helped immensely; there's also evidence to prove everyone struggles to digest thing such as bread, we just don't necessarily notice it.
Nice to see lots of people getting involved & appreciate its not everyone's cup of tea but wanted to stress as a family we ARE gluten free and DO use Genius products.

Hello Susie!
Lots of athletes are gf.
Novak djokovic claims his gf diet helped him win grand slams!
My mum Is coeliac but refuses to follow a gf diet as she finds the gf substitutes so unappealing :( her health is really suffering.
I am gf intolerant and know I feel so much better when gf.
(Btw please tell Greg that he was fab on time crashers!! :))

really interested having just been diagnosed with ibs and acid reflux ive been struggling to control and weed out which things are tiggers for me, i have success and then things seem to change its hard to know what one day will be to the next. I have also found things that i tolerate better really expensive and am eager to try new things that everyone can eat as a family rather than me having edited versions or different food

SmileyShazza · 09/10/2015 13:35

Sounds like a good opportunity for those who do want to eat GF

We are a Disabled Fam who all have IBS and would love the chance to take part in this to see if it helps us. Thanks.

Just to say the testing and feedback for this has been delayed - we will be in touch with the selected testers as soon as we have a date.

Yay just got my email from Ann to say I've been selected! Any others here? Check your emails folks because Ann needs to re-confirm if you can join in.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's meals!
