Mumsnetters needed to try the Miele TMB 640 WP tumble dryer - worth £1,049 NOW CLOSED

Miele are looking for 10 Mumsnetters to test out their TMB 640 WP tumble dryer.

Here’s what Miele say, "This sleek new white tumble dryer from Miele takes gentle care of your clothes using advanced laundry care technology. The PerfectDry system automatically detects mineral content and moisture in your clothes and adjusts the drying time accordingly, giving great results every time. Even better, you can add fragrance to your laundry using a FragranceDos capsule. The result: pleasantly fresh clothes with a natural fragrance that lasts up to four weeks.”

Those selected will be sent a Miele TMB 640 WP tumble dryer (RRP £1,049).

If selected, you'll be sent the Miele TMB 640 WP to try for a few weeks and so long as you add feedback as required you will be able to keep the product.

If selected, you will be sent the Miele TMB 640 WP towards the end of September, and asked to try it for two weeks. You will then need to try it and add feedback to a thread on Mumsnet. You would also be asked to film some video feedback.

At the end of the testing period, we'd also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet review pages. In order to keep the product, you would need to add your feedback by 11th October, so please only apply if you are able to do this.

So the road outside is flooded, anymore rain and I would need to build an ark (live in Wales so would get plenty of use!) and the sports kits and uniform are starting to build up as my old dryer is broken from overuse. Please please let me have the magic email telling me my problems are solved soon

You should definitely buy the kids a tumbly. It would be a Christmas to remember.

Fingers crossed to everybody. With 4 children my poor tumble dryer gets used several times a day, I can't hang washing due to my disabilities. The tumble dryer has a comedy door and if you open it when the tumble dryer is running, it continues and starts throwing all the clothes out.

Right, that's it, I'm going to order myself a tumbledryer from AO right now and use my discount voucher. In my mind this will immediately cause me to be picked. DH has pointed out that a) The Whole of Mumsnet will have applied for this one so I'm clearly not going to be picked b) I'm not broke and don't have seven kids still in real nappies so I shouldn't be picked anyway. I hate it when he's right.

Unusual for no one come to come back and say something. Also MNHQ tend to say that the emails have gone out...

I'm guessing that they've sent all the forms over to Miele's marketing department, who are taking their pick, and presumably don't work weekends.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one obsessively checking emails and my junk folder to see I've been selected! Think a tumble dryer could be actually life changing!

Wish mumsnet would put us out of our misery and let us know if the emails had been sent before I gnaw all my nails in nervous anticipation

They could at least come on and tell us when we're likely to hear.

Hi everyone - so sorry for the delay with this and for not posting here earlier, we're still in the process of going through all of the applications to confirm the testers. We will hopefully be in touch with the selected testers in the next couple of days, and we will post on here to confirm that the emails have been sent out.

Ooh ooh ooh! So excited! I feel I should jump up and down with my hand up calling "pick me! Pick me!" Repeatedly (and annoyingly ), except I'm getting on for 60 and today I can barely stand let along jump!

Keep refreshing this thread and checking my emails like a woman possessed...new kitchen means I finally have room for a tumble dryer which is desperately needed with a toddler and another baby on the way!! Would so love to be picked for this product test!

Hope today will be the day the emails are sent. Checking my email and refreshing mumsnet hourly. This is worst than waiting for my A level results lol
