SEAT have asked us to find 3 Mumsnetters to test drive their SEAT Alhambra.

Here’s what they say, “SEAT’s seven-seat New Alhambra is ready to reaffirm its pre-eminence in the large MPV market with a UK range that majors on more powerful and efficient new engines, a wealth of new equipment features and extra flashes of contemporary styling. The all-round improvements are set to consolidate Alhambra’s enduring popularity, reflected in more than a dozen “best MPV” awards since the current generation model entered the market five years ago. Versatility remains a designed-in quality for the New Alhambra; true to the easy-to-live-with character that has made it such an enduringly popular choice”

Selected Mumsnetters will be sent a SEAT Alhambra to try with their families for just over 2 weeks from 16th September to 2nd October. Cars will be delivered with a full tank of fuel but any other fuel usage will need to be covered by the testers. Testers will be set different tasks by Mumsnetters which they must complete. Testers will also need to film some footage of them and their family using the car. We’ll send all those taking part a brief of what we’d like this to include.

All selected Mumsnetters who provide feedback on a thread and send in video footage will receive a £100 Love2Shop voucher as a thank you for taking part.

This test drive is open to all UK Mumsnetters age 25 and over and who have a clean license.

Tried filling it out, but error saying please add a positive number, but can't see where the error is?

Trying to fill out form (using mobile site) but it won't let me put my name in, only allows numbers???!

Please Help as would love to do this!

Thanks michelle, have completed the survey but it didn't have the usual "thanks for entering page", just went straight back to the product tests page- is it possible to see if my entry went through ok?

Ooh. Trying to convince dp that the Alhambra would be the best replacement for our aging (and getting too small for the family) vw Touran, but he isn't convinced. This would definitely further the cause!

You know the form says MNetters will be contacted by the 8th August? Is that supposed to read September? Have also submitted and sent back to the product testing page.

Argh, I just filled this out and noticed that one of my answers didn't save as it went through - would be happy to film video and would do so on iPhones! Is it possible to add this to my answers?

Crossing my fingers. We are looking to change DH's estate and have been discussing the merits of an MPV vs a 4 wheel drive so this would be a great chance to try before we buy

Don't understand why there is the option to fill in the points on your license if it's only open to clean drivers.

Done I think it went through Ok, not sure if it had all the details of madthings on as the app was being funny. It should show five kids ages 4, 7, 10, 13 and 16.

My husband is Very keen to do this test.

Signed up! We're deliberating between the Seat Alhambra and the VW Sharan right now so this would be fab timing if we are selected to test drive.

We are hoping to get a new car in the next few months and had been looking at the Alhambra as an option! Would LOVE to be selected for this as it would give us a unique opportunity as a family to put the car through its paces!

Can I apply even if I don't drive and DH would be doing all the driving? The car's on our list for when we replace our 11 year old Picasso, would be great to try it out first!
