Mumsnetters who own a Samsung Smart television are invited to test out the Smart TV hub and share their thoughts onsite – £300 Love2Shop voucher to be won for feedback! NOW CLOSED

We’ve been asked by the team at Samsung to find UK Mumsnetters to trial the Samsung Smart TV Hub, including family friendly apps Hopster, Netflix and Amazon Instant Video.

We’re looking for Mumsnetters who currently own a Samsung Smart television and would be interested in testing out the Smart Hub and apps.

Here’s what Samsung has to say: “Samsung Smart TV’s give parents access to a range of family friendly content through the platform from a range of content partners, including Hopster, which offers ad-free and U-rated content for preschoolers via the Samsung Smart Hub, as well as the ability to catch up on shows from popular kid’s channels including CBEEBES, Milkshake! And CITV. Samsung Smart TV’s also help families ‘cut the cord’ on cable TV and get access to a world of extra TV and entertainment options including catch-up TV, movies, YouTube, Skype and loads more. As Samsung Smart TVs already have access to all the scheduled programmes you would expect and a range of great free of charge or pay as you go apps, there’s no need to pay for expensive contracts or bundles, it’s simply a question of choosing the right apps for you!. Better yet, you don’t need a set-top box, extra remotes or cables cluttering up your living room, providing you and your kids with a seamless and safe entertainment experience.”

If you are selected to take part you will need to test the Samsung Smart TV Hub, including the Hopster app, for two weeks. You will need to try it out with your DCs and feedback to a thread on Mumsnet. At the end of the testing period we’d also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet App review pages.

Testers need to have at least one child aged between 3 and 10, own a Samsung Smart television and to be available to test the Smart TV hub between 11-24 May. Please only apply if you’re available at this time.

Every tester who posts their feedback and adds a review will be entered into a prize draw, where one winner will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Yes this is exactly what we have. It would have worked via wifi but there's a wifi black spot in our house which happens to be exactly where the TV is.
