Below are the questions we'd like testers to answer but please feel free to add your own comments too.

  • What was your overall impression of the savoury pouches which Cow & Gate sent to you?
  • Did your child enjoy the Cow & Gate Friends savoury pouches? If so, which one did they enjoy the most?
  • Would you buy the Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches again? If so, why? If not, why not?
  • Would you recommend Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches to friends or family? If so, why? If not, why not?

All testers who give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £250 Mothercare voucher.

Thanks,
MNHQ

What was your overall impression of the savoury pouches which Cow & Gate sent to you?
-bright packaging, liked a pouch container rather than glass.
-good portion size, each pouch did 2 or 3 meals for my child.

Did your child enjoy the Cow & Gate Friends savoury pouches? If so, which one did they enjoy the most?
-Seemed to enjoy them all, but the plain broccoli one needed more encouragement from me.

Would you buy the Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches again? If so, why? If not, why not?
-Yes, if i was likely to be away from home overnight or on holiday, for convenience.

  • Would you recommend Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches to friends or family? If so, why? If not, why not?
-Yes as my child seemed to enjoy them, portion sizes were generous, convenient when out and about.

Good and convenient packaging and nice flavours. Would buy if price is right and recommend as well.

I really liked the bright cheerful packaging.

Although my son at 20 mths is a bit too old for purees I added them to meals, he especially liked the cauliflower, potato & cheese over cooked pasta.

I would definitely buy again for a way of getting extra veg in to my sons meals and also when I start weaning my baby in a couple of months.

I will be recommending them to my friends.

  • What was your overall impression of the savoury pouches which Cow & Gate sent to you?

They certainly looked appetising, and the packaging was colourful enough to garner interest from my daughter. Unfortunately the taste of both options didn't seem to be to her liking.

  • Did your child enjoy the Cow & Gate Friends savoury pouches? If so, which one did they enjoy the most?

She didn't enjoy either, but I got the sense this was more to do with the lack of texture than flavour.

  • Would you buy the Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm afraid not, but only because I feel my daughter has developed a more varied palette for her age than the taste of the pouches helped satisfy.

  • Would you recommend Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches to friends or family? If so, why? If not, why not?

i would, but only for those under one year old.

The pouches were well received from my new weaning DLD.
She particular liked the chicken and sweetcorn.
These are good vfm at Boots at the moment as they are on a 342.
Would be great if they could make smaller pouch sizes at a reduced price when yound babies are only eating a few mouthfuls to prevent wastage.
A couple of the pouches I struggled to get the lids off.

Overall impression:
Good! The brand and flavours were clear and the images were consistent.
Enjoyment:
Liked the chicken pouch best. He Got bored after a few spoonfuls of the others.
Recommend?
Yes, brilliant for when you are out and about and good to have in the cupboards for a spur of the moment meal!
Buy again?
Yes definitely

What was your overall impression of the savoury pouches which Cow & Gate sent to you? The pouches are a good size and interesting flavour combinations. The packaging is a cute design although a little cluttered, I know it's totally materialistic but I am swayed by packaging!

  • Did your child enjoy the Cow & Gate Friends savoury pouches? If so, which one did they enjoy the most? Unfortunately he didn't, but I think this is because he has a preference for sweet pouches at the moment.
  • Would you buy the Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches again? If so, why? If not, why not? I would buy them again once he is over his vegetable adversion
  • Would you recommend Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches to friends or family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would as they are good flavour combinations and a fun way to try vegetables. They are a good size and really convenient for on the go.

Packaging was good, bright, attention catching and friendly!

  • What was your overall impression of the savoury pouches which Cow & Gate sent to you?
I thought they were very presentable, bright and something I'd definitely notice on the shelves. Nice playful images, easy to open and store, great functionality.
  • Did your child enjoy the Cow & Gate Friends savoury pouches? If so, which one did they enjoy the most?
I consider my child to be quite fussy, and have tended to stick to the same brands with her food. However, these seemed to go down a treat, and I was pleased with the overall content of fruit/veg, so felt comforted that she was getting good nutrients and some of her 5 a day.
  • Would you buy the Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I've purchased these pouches a couple of times now. I find them easy to put into her changing bag to send to the childminder or when we are on the go. I think they're good value for money, easy to store in my cupboards and most of all my daughter likes them!
  • Would you recommend Cow & Gate Friends Savoury Pouches to friends or family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely, I consider them to be good enough for my own child so would definitely recommend them to other parents, along with the reasons above.
