Ambrosia are looking for 100 Mumsnetters to become "Ambrosia Taste Team Testers". Earlier this year the nation's favourite custard and rice pudding brand Ambrosia, launched a mini pots range specially formulated for children. Each Ambrosia Taste Team Tester will receive 30 mini pots of custard or rice, (you can pick which one you want to receive when you apply) to try with their children (aged 3 to 7 years old), and to give to friends to test out too!

Ambrosia say; "our mini pots of custard or rice have calcium and vitamin D, which are needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. We believe our mini pots are perfect for small appetites. They contain no preservatives or artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners, but are full of dairy goodness. They have a long life and don't need to be chilled, so they are perfect for stocking up on reserve and for use out and about too. They are a perfect pudding solution that children will love!"

For all ingredients please see here

Each pack of 6 has a recommended retail price of £1.49.

Ambrosia Taste Team Testers need to be UK Mumsnetters* with at least one child aged 3 to 7 years old. If you meet these criteria and would like to take part, please submit your details using the following link, by no later than Monday 6th October 2014 at 10am - sign up here.

Each eligible Mumsnetter may only submit their details once**

All selected Ambrosia Taste Team Testers who provide feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one Ambrosia Taste Team Tester will be selected at random to win an £100 voucher for John Lewis. See prize draw T&Cs here

note...
50 Ambrosia Taste Team Testers will be selected at random* from applicants who select to receive the mini pot rice pudding and 50 Ambrosia Taste Team Testers will be selected at random from the applicants who select to receive the mini pot custard. Mumsnet will email confirmation to the selected Ambrosia Taste Team Testers and will pass on their names and addresses to Premier Foods Group Limited, who will dispatch the product. Mumsnet will also email a link to the feedback thread once the Ambrosia Taste Team Testers have received the product. Applicants who are not selected to be Ambrosia Taste Team Testers will not receive the product. Mumsnet’s decision as to the eligibility to enter and the result of this Promotion is final.

Thanks and good luck!

Caillou · 12/10/2014 11:07

Just received my email too, thank you mumsnet, I completely forgot about it and thought I wasn't lucky on this one Grin

Bedat10 · 16/10/2014 16:47

I haven't had an email but I've just received a parcel of custard (yey!) but it's all open (and a few pots have split - custardy!) so has no info in it - are there meant to be instructions for feedback?? Kids c excited though!

BornToFolk · 16/10/2014 18:41

haha! Now I see why it said that the pots could be shared with friends as I've just taken delivery of 30 pots of rice pudding. Thanks Mumsnet and Ambrosia! Thanks

DS has already requested one in his lunchbox tomorrow.

Bedat10 My email from Mumsnet re this test went into my junk folder, maybe yours did too? Weird as Mumsnet emails usually don't get filtered out...Hmm

Spikeinhiscoat · 17/10/2014 11:38

I haven't had an email either, but have just taken delivery of lots of rice pudding. My 2 year old was very excited ("yay, rice pudding" - but he gets enthusiastic about anything he thinks he'll be able to eat), and helped to put them in the cupboard, we'll wait for his big brother to get home from school before they have some. Seeing 30 pots in the cupboard, I'm glad they have a long shelf-life!

AnnMumsnet · 17/10/2014 11:45

Bedat10 - we will email you a link to the feedback thread soon

You should have had an email from me: please check your junk folder...

I've had the email but no custard or rice pudding yet! Can't wait!

confusedofengland · 17/10/2014 17:13

Just fetched mine - they tried to deliver it to my neighbour & when he wasn't it left it at the depot. When he tried to collect (as card had no name or address so he thought it was a parcel for him) they wouldn't let him, so he had a wasted trip across town Hmm Still, things can only get better from hereGrin

Batbear · 17/10/2014 18:35

I've had a shocking day and just opened the door to a man bearing custard.

Mumsnet for this and many other things I love you!

mipmop · 18/10/2014 00:32

These are a great size for young children. My 3yo will happily eat one individually, but they are ideal for when you only need a small amount of custard to accompany a child's pudding. They could also be used in packed lunch boxes.

MrsPiddlewink · 18/10/2014 18:50

Mine arrived - half of them split Sad Still - there's plently of them... thanks MN Thanks

Wigeon · 20/10/2014 13:16

I received the delivery of huge quantities of rice pudding Smile - is there a live feedback thread yet? The DC have both wolfed quite a bit down now Grin.

Caillou · 20/10/2014 15:55

Still nothing here :(

startwig1982 · 21/10/2014 13:05

Moodykat · 21/10/2014 20:37

Still no custard. Sad Sad

LizzieMint · 21/10/2014 21:25

Hmassey · 22/10/2014 07:23

AnnMumsnet · 22/10/2014 11:03

Collected our box of custard - a few had split but still lots to try. DS1 is a huge custard fan and has had one pot by itself and another tipped over sticky toffee pudding. DS2 tried a pot and liked it. where do we feedback?

Cherryjellybean · 23/10/2014 08:11

I've received custard but I had no email to say it was coming or for feedback. It was a lovely surprise, yum!! Looking out for somewhere to feedback :)

Moodykat · 24/10/2014 09:00

Hi AnnMumsnet

Any reply yet? Haven't received mine yet - no worries if it's delayed or won't be coming but would be nice to know!

Thanks!

AnnMumsnet · 24/10/2014 17:14
