Mumsnetters needed to test Pampers Active Fit nappies - £200 John Lewis voucher to be won in return for feedback NOW CLOSED

Pampers are looking for 1,000 MNers to try their Active Fit nappies with their little ones and provide feedback on Mumsnet.

Here is what Pampers have to say: “Since sleeping in a wet nappy for a baby is like sleeping in damp pyjamas for an adult, how dry a baby’s nappy is on the inside, is important for parents to know when deciding which nappies to use. Pampers Active Fit is the UK’s driest nappy and stays up to two times drier than the next leading nappy. This is thanks to Pampers’ unique extra absorbent layer which speeds wetness away from the skin, locking it inside the nappy for up to 12 hours of protection against dampness. But don’t just take our word for it, join our #BritainsDriestNappy trial and put the superior dryness of Pampers Active Fit to the test for yourself!”

This is open to all UK MNers who have a child age up to 3 months and currently wearing one of the sizes below:

Size 3: 4 - 9 kg / 9 - 15 lbs
Size 3+: 5 - 10 kg / 11 - 15 lbs
Size 4: 7 - 18 kg / 15 - 40 lbs
Size 4+: 9 - 18 kg / 20 - 44 lbs
Size 5: 11 - 25 kg / 24 - 55 lbs
Size 5+: 13 - 27 kg / 24 - 60 lbs
Size 6: 15+ kg/33+ lbs

Selected testers will receive a free carry pack of Active Fit nappies in their chosen size.

Testers will need to be available to test their pack of Active Fit nappies starting on September 8th, so please only apply if you're available at that time.

Everyone who takes part and adds their feedback to a thread on MN will be entered into a prize draw to win a £200 John Lewis voucher. We’ll also be sending you a link to a short questionnaire, where you can tell Pampers what you thought about the dryness of Pampers Active Fit.

Please sign up here if you'd like to take part.

Thanks,
MNHQ

My little girl will be 3 months by the time of the trial so have signed up. Fingers crossed!!

Reniee14 · 08/08/2014 17:35

Hoping to get this as my lo is 3 months alreadyGrin

kally195 · 08/08/2014 18:27

Signed up, as Podge will be 3 months by then.

Is anyone else confused by then sizings? Last time I checked, 10kg was equivalent to 22lbs, but the size 3+ say 10kg/15lb max size?

mjmooseface · 08/08/2014 18:30

1,000 is A LOT of testers! I quite fancy my chances! haha Good luck everyone.

Helish · 08/08/2014 18:37

Signed. I have twins and go through a lot of nappies...

Quodlibet · 08/08/2014 20:58

I ordered these from Amazon by mistake and wouldn't buy them again - the chemical smell off them is far worse than normal disposables, you can smell it through the baby's clothes.

MissRee · 08/08/2014 21:55

Can I apply for my 2 year old? She wears a size 4+ or 5!

Holfin · 09/08/2014 02:11

I was all ready to sign up but sadly both my DC in nappies are over 18 months. Shame as they are both still in the sizes listed.

SaltySeaBird · 09/08/2014 05:10

Shame as my DD is 22 months but wears a size 4+.

We've had awful problems with Active Fit splitting and releasing all the crystals which are impossible to clean up without popping her under the shower. She is right at the lower end of the weight bracket for her size.

Have to say Pampers customer service have been fantastic and we've sent back a few split nappies to them. We are using Baby Dry now which are much, much better in my opinion.

DoItTooJulia · 09/08/2014 07:43

Another one with a child too old at 20 months in a size 5+.

Actually, I can't imagine there are many babies in a size 6 nappy at 18 months. My ds is a BIG baby and is still only in a 5 +...... Maybe they don't really want the biggest sizes tested?

bshree08 · 09/08/2014 08:09

hopefully will get selected Grin

snapple21 · 09/08/2014 10:49

Yes think the weight conversions are wrong on here!

JimbosJetSet · 09/08/2014 19:32

I also have a rather large child who at 20 months is too old for this but is in a 5+... I am also wondering how many children under the age of 18 months they'll find wearing a size 6!

BigWLittleJ · 09/08/2014 22:32

I've signed up as my youngest will be three months by then. Shame I can't try them with my eldest (25 months). We didn't get on with them when he was a baby, so I'd like to see if they are any different for my youngest.

SweetsForMySweet · 10/08/2014 00:03

Bought pampers active fit(2 packs on offer :(() this week and my little boy got very bad nappy rash after second day of using them. They are not as absorbent as other varieties. They also smell.going back to using Pampers Baby Dry which are much better.

wrapsuperstar · 10/08/2014 00:11

Signed up -- DD2 will be 3 months for the trial and definitely the right size etc for these. Smile

MadMonkeys · 10/08/2014 09:38

Do they have to be 18m or younger? My 22m DD is in size 5+....

BlackbirdOnTheWire · 10/08/2014 11:52

DS now 2 so too old, but if Pampers read this they can have my feedback for free - those nappies stink! Shame because ActiveFit is the best shape for skinny DC.

ineedausername · 10/08/2014 13:38

My 2 are both too old, but agree with the chemically smell! Much prefer own brands or Aldi. Pampers are a rip off IMO!

mistlethrush · 10/08/2014 20:53

Based on the thread title, I'm not sure they would fit.

I'm glad others have noticed the smell, my SIL uses active fit and made a Hmm face at me when I said we went back to baby dry as we both hated the smell. I thought we'd had a bad pack or something!

foodie12345 · 12/08/2014 15:13

signed up.

NotMrsTumble · 13/08/2014 12:52
