We're looking for 500 people to be part of a new panel over the next year; The Chocolate Forum. We're looking for a wide range of people to take part, including Mumsnetters and non Mumsnetters - so if you know someone who might be interested please do pass the link on. It's open to everyone including those with children, without children, grannies and granddads.

We can't say too much at the moment but in brief this will involve working with Kinnerton confectionery and Mumsnet over the next year to help develop ideas for new chocolate products as well as discussing their current ranges (there may also be some taste testing involved too!Grin)

If you are selected to be part of the panel you will need to commit to taking part in at least 6 activities between now and September 2014. Some of these projects may have quite a quick turn around and responses will often be needed within one week. Each task will be incentivised with a prize draw.

So if you'd like to be part of The Chocolate Forum please sign up here.

There are quite a few questions on the sign up form as we really need to ensure we recruit a wide range of people so please bear with us. If you're selected your name and address may be passed onto Kinnerton so they can send you items relating to research tasks, however none of your other details will be passed on to anyone.

We'll be in touch with those selected soon.

Thanks and good luck,

Katie @ MNHQ

NB this has already been sent to the MN research panel so if you've already signed up there's no need to sign up again.

Another one who was all ready to sign up until I read the work Kinnerton - yuk

BigGapMum · 02/09/2013 07:45

Well I've signed up. Maybe this will help them improve.

ThePortlyPinUp · 02/09/2013 07:47

I live near the Kinnerton chocolate factory and not all their chocolate is vile, they make walnut whips, beautiful truffles etc, I particularly liked the fizzy tango chocolate eggs this Easter.

polly164 · 02/09/2013 21:15

Would love to take part in this!

Tee2072 · 02/09/2013 21:17

No response about being only England/Wales?

elQuintoConyo · 02/09/2013 21:25

Oh, flaps! I'm mainland EU. Why aren't there ever opportunities for those of us not north east of the Channel? Sad

LynetteScavo · 02/09/2013 21:29

I'm not convinced. ThePortlyPinUp

The kinnerton Easter Egg from 1985 is still etched on my taste buds too clearly. A nasty experience.

Maybe I should sign up....so my opinion can be changed. Hmm

elQuintoConyo · 02/09/2013 21:33

north west never could tell east/west Blush

CharlieAlphaKiloEcho · 02/09/2013 21:47

I knew heaven would involve chocolate and MN.

EricNorthmansFangbanger · 04/09/2013 00:58

The words testing and chocolate had me sold Grin

KatieBMumsnet · 04/09/2013 15:39

Hi wannabedomesticgoddess and Tee you're still eligible to apply if you're in NI. The NDA is still covered by English law as one party (Kinnerton) is in England.

So please sign up Grin

Haha Grin I've signed up to be a chocolate tester!
Hope it doesn't go against me that I don't shop at M & S, closest one is about 20 miles away..

Theimpossiblegirl · 06/09/2013 16:38

I can't remember if I ticked M&S now, as I don't usually shop there, but today I did. I went in for some jeggings and came out with a couple of bags of food too.

KatieBMumsnet · 06/09/2013 16:45

Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far Smile

We're still looking for people who meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Shop in M&S Food
  • Live in Northern Ireland
  • Don't have any children living at home
  • Men

If you know anyone who may be interested please do pass on the link to this thread (it's open to Mumsnetters and non-Mumsnetters).

Thanks

You can have impossible DH- does he need to sign up to Mumsnet or can he go through me? (I've already signed up for this). The only problem is that he's not very good at sharing so you'd have to send extra for me & the impossible girls.
:)

RubyRR · 06/09/2013 20:02

The sign up link doesn't seem to link to the sign up option.

jadenash2013 · 07/09/2013 09:48

Theimpossiblegirl · 08/09/2013 15:39
