Mine (well, DD2s ) arrived on Tuesday, shes been wearing the all week.

Shes 15 months old and we used size 4 - despite having moved to 4+ in 'regular' style nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Loved them, had not a single leak. DD2 sleeps like an inverted 'v' and usually completely saturates her front by the morning, no matter how I do up the tabs. Hasn't happened once with these. Agree with the PP who said Dora & Diego are dated, almost.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Very easy, DD2 seemed to prefer the speed of the change too.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
DD1 (now aged, 8) used pull-ups for a period of time. From what I recall, we did still have leaks then - so they've obviously improved!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Already have done - mentioned it at NCT group to ladies who all have babies the same age.

We regularly use Pampers Simply Dry - a mega value nappy. Obviously, Easy Ups cost more than that - but I think we will continue to buy them, and use them at night, until the time comes for potty training.

DS2 is 18 months.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
As nappies, I liked them for daily use - but no more than I like Pampers Baby-Dry. They didn't leak urine, we had one teething nappy disaster, they fitted well and they weren't too bulky.
We were going to use them as a bit of an introduction to DS2 as "big boy pants" - he's very hero-worshipping of his brother and is obsessed with us (DS1 in particular) using the toilet to "WEE! WEE! WEE!" but they were a little too well fitting - there's no way he could have taken them off himself without ripping the side panels. I couldn't imagine DS1 having been able to use them "as pants" when we potty trained him at 2.7 for the same reason.
I did notice they smelt more strongly (chemically?) than Baby-Dry, and this worried me slightly as DS2 has reacted badly to Active-Fit nappies in the past which also had a strong smell.
I really didn't like the design. I tend to avoid the twee children's characters anyway, so having them there on top of dealing with the contents of a nappy wasn't great!

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
They were as convenient to use as Baby-Dry nappies. They wouldn't have been useful for us if we were potty training because DS2 wouldn't have been able to get them up and down by himself, and I think their "nappiness" would have confused him if we were potty training.
They were useful for very quick nappy changes (and would be brilliant if we were going somewhere where baby change facilities weren't available or were diabolical) but for poo nappies they were a bit of a nightmare - having to tear them off, then not able to ball them up and fasten them closed - I find regular nappies far more simple.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I have used the Boots pull ups in the past with DS1 when they were on offer. From memory, I think they were just as good.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
If they were on offer and cheaper than other nappies, then yes - as I can't see any reason not to, but by the same token, if they are at a standard price then I can't see a reason to recommend them over any other nappy in particular. I don't think I'd recommend them for potty training either because they seem - to me - to send a mixed message to the child, and they're too difficult to get up/down for the average toddler.

No, I don't. I think they cost a premium because of their niche target audience, but they don't offer enough (any?) benefits over any other nappy, or going cold turkey with the nappies in the potty training process.

First impression is that, after just one night, DS wants "explorer pants, dddddd dora". we've always been in shop brand nappies before and he has never asked for "lion nappy, rah!". Oh the power of nikelodeon.

DS is 21 months and we were testing size 4 easy ups

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

The were convenient in that it was easier to put them on whilst chasing DS round the room. They have a less plastic feel to them than the Sainsbury's own brand normal nappies I have been using. At the moment I am price driven so would not buy them unless they were on special. I don't like the fact they have Dora all over them, I would prefer a generic character, if at all.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

They were convenient to use when chasing DS to get a nappy back on him, they are less convenient when he is happy to lie down for me. I can see that as he approaches toilet training they would be more able to pass off as big boy pants.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I used pull ups with my DD. At the time I used an environmental brand. I preferred the look of the other brand, also they didn't appear to hang as low as these Pampers do.

No, I am price driven, these nappies perform as well as all the others I have used. Plus my friends and I don't talk about nappies.

I think they are expensive, as mentioned before I am price driven. I notice that all pant type nappies are more expensive than conventional nappies, so for that reason I am going to stick with those, and go for supermarket own brand or special offer nappies.

I am not brand sensitive when it comes to the purchase of nappies and the Dora branding of these nappies puts me off.

DD is nearly 3, we are testing size 6 pullups.
Q1- I like the design of these, they are really stretchy and seem to give ny DD room to breathe. DD likes the colours and Dora the Explorer. They feel a better quality to the supermarket own brand I have been using. They feel thinner yet I have had no leaks.
I would be happy to use these again, price depending.

Q2-
They were very convenient as the give in them made it easier to put on my daughter. They were easy to pull up and down.

Q3- Yes I have been using a supermarket own brand, which in the same sizing is tighter and bulkier than Pampers. I think that Pampers pullups fared better than my usual brand in this test.

Q4- Yes I would, I have mentioned them to other Mums, because I think that they are a good product and I have been impressed with their performance.

Q5- I think they are quite expensive.I have tried Pampers nappies before with both of ny children, I would definitely buy these if they were on offer.

We have used them before, our pull up of choice as very easy for sons to use

they are not cheap but are market leaders as far as we are concerned so worth paying for

oh, we used size 6, boys are three

used on dd 21 months (size 5)

Q1 great impression, the feel much softer than a few of the other brand nappies. dd is becoming hard work at nappy change time, so her being able to stand up to be changed was a big hit. she liked that she could just step in. i wouldnt use them again for the simple fact of the cost. if they were cheaper then i would be tempted.

Q2 yes i did find them easy to use. they are very stretchy so no worries about the seem tearing while pulling them up.

Q3 ive not tried any other nappy pants at the moment. dd is ususally in cloth nappies but i think we are looking to start toilet training soon so it was good to get a feel for them as i think i will go down this route rather than a cloth pull up

Q4 i would recommend them, but i dont have any others to compare with

Q5 i feel they are some what expensive. if i were to be using these on a daily basis, i would be struggling with the cost! id be far more tempted to use them when toilet training was more established and then as a back up

Q1 I was so disappointed. Compared to standard size 5 nappies, they are too small and leaked frequently, providing us with a poo-nado on one of the hottest days of the year. It has been a long time since i've had to scrape poo of my 20 month old's leg. I would not use these again.

Q2 They should have been easy to use but after the first wear, my son kicked up an almighty fuss every time I tried to put them on him, and was able to pull them off. Not ideal in a nappy.

Q3 I've not used others and have now been firmly put off the pull up idea.

Q4 I would not recommend these to any friends and not even to enemies. No child deserves to be covered in their own faeces.

Q5 They seem expensive for something that didn't work for us.

They didn't hold enough wee for everyday use and would be too expensive to replace my normal nappies with. Although they pull-on like pants, they still feel just like a nappy so are not particularly helpful with toilet training. They're useful for car journeys when children might doze off or outings when you don't want to risk wet pants etc.

They were convenient and easy enough to get on and off.

Although they 'feel' better quality, they were small in size and tended to leak. They were also more expensive than other brands I've tried.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up

I would recommend for a child who won't lie down/still to be changed. Would not recommend for general everyday use or for transition from nappy to potty/toilet.

They're quite bulky compared to ordinary pampers nappies but I like the characters which are on them as we told Ds 'we don't want to wee on Dora or Diego do we?'. I don't really like these as a potty training pant as they feel to similar to a nappy and DS didn't really understand that they were like pants because of this. I would use these for trips in the car etc so that my child still had some sort of 'pants' on and not reverting back to proper nappies.

Changing is more difficult as you obvioursly have to strip the child down to change them but DS has always been quite compliant at nappy change times anyway.

We have used real training pants which I'd recommend over Easy up pants, just because DS knew he was wet and they don't feel like a nappy. Ive also used huggies pull ups once before which are much thinner than Easy up pants but more or less the same.

If they were for potty training I'd say no, just bite the bullet and go straight to real pants but I would recommend them if the parent really wanted their child to wear some sort of pull ups first as DS seems comfortable in them and we havnt experienced any leaks.

The cost would put me off buying them again. As a rule I only buy nappies when they are on offer and they work out at 10p per nappy or less (bulk buy). The cheapest the above offers in the size 4's is 20p, most expensive being 29p per nappy. For those whose children are a size 6 its even more expensive. Not really cost effective.

Should've put that DS is 2 years 9 months.

And we used size 4's! Doh!

DS is 16 months old, we tried size 5.

Excellent. Easy to identify the packaging as being the ones I want to buy. I used them with my eldest son, and found them to be really good. Glad to see that they haven't been changed for the worse!

Yes, very easy and convenient.

These are the first pull ups I have used with this DS. But I used Pampers pull ups with my eldest child a few years ago.

Yes, as they're very reliable and easy to use.

I think reliable nappies and pull ups are always good value. Better for them to be reliable and a little more expensive than for them to be cheaper and leaky.

FANTASTIC I've received Pampers Easy Up size 4 a week ago and since that time , my 11months daughter wears them every day and night. They're fantastic! No leaks, full comfort when she plays or sleep. Definitely less trouble to change the nappy when your little one is wiggling, crawling or jumping at the same time. Will definitely use the for her play time . I will definitely recommend the to other parents . Great value for a good money. I can be sure my child is happy and protected all the time .Thanks Pampers !!!!

Hi, my son is 20 months old and is wearing size 5 pull up pants.

Q1 - I like the overall appearance of the pull up pants. My son has tried these before and I find them easy and convent to use on him. They can be easily packed into my changing bag/handbag and have a nice soft material. The stretchy fit helps when my son m

My son is 2 and we were using the size 5.

1 He loved the pictures of Dora and Diego, they were good for encouraging him to pull them up and down and very soft, I thought they were really good from a looking comfortable perspective.

I liked them, DS got size 5 and he's 22 months. I would definitely use them again, they held a lot of wee and he was comfortable in them over night.

I think so. They suit my needs perfectly!

Moves around and when pulling up and down. I would buy these again without a doubt.

Q2 - very easy and convent to use as said above. I find they are easy to store and pack in handbag etc.

Q3- I have used other brand pull ups and find them just as good. The only thing I would say is that the design pattern/picture on them could be a bit better my son hasn't got a clue who Dora is. Whereas he loves disney cars on huggies.

Q4- yes I would recommend these to my other mum friends as they don't leak and are easy for baby to pull up and down and that's most important.

Q5- I do find that they are quite expensive but it's because of competition. You get bigger packs of pampers than most brands and I prefer that.

I liked them, I thought they looked cute and my little one is impressed with them too. He likes the characters on the front (Dora & Diago) and they fit him well too. I also found that his trousers/shorts seemed to hang better with these on rather than nappies as they don't seem as bulky.

They are very easy to use, I like that they just pull on and there's no faffing about trying to persuade him or even bribe him to keep still long enough to get a nappy on!
They don't wrap up as small as a normal nappy though but this isn't a major problem!

I did in the past use Huggies with my third son and I think the Pampers are much better.

I would recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants. I just think they are so much easier to use and my son loves them, he decided this week to pull them down and wee on the floor so I am guessing potty training isn't far off! He then pulled them back up and carried on like nothing had happened whilst I had to leave the room to laugh get a mop!

They are not the cheapest but they are great quality and sometimes it is worth paying out a little more for a good product.

Ds2 is 4 and I've been using them at night as he's dry during the day.

He was very unimpressed with Dora and Diego but he likes the fact they are more like pants. He says they make him feel less like a baby. He hasn't complained of any discomfort so they must be ok to sleep in.

I have been struggling to find a nappy that doesn't leak and while these did, it was only one night so an improvement.

I also noticed that ds2 had a really spotty bottom after the first two nights and I'm wondering if the pull ups aren't breathable enough.

I think they are ok value for money and I'd carry on using them but I'd think twice if I was using them during the day too.

I would recommend them as they are the dryest I've found so far.
