Hello - some of you have raised some questions/ queries about the products and this project, below are the responses from Victoria at Ella's Kitchen.
nannyn I can already give them some feedback, the fromage frais have upset both of my LO's stomachs. They are fine with the yoghurt.
"Hi there, we?re sorry that happened ? our Customer Care team would love to help make it right. Head to our Contact Us page to drop them a note: www.ellaskitchen.co.uk/contact-us/ Thanks"
Firewall Hi, can provide feedback for the thick and smooth yoghurt. It really didn't agree with LO, who loves petit filous, munch bunch etc. not only that, he really didn't like the flavour, myself and OH tasted it too and it really tasted awful and was really sour as well. Perhaps it was a bad bunch but after tasting it myself, it wasn't a pleasant flavour.
"Hi there, some mums + babies told us the same thing and we listened ? that?s why we've been back to the kitchen and changed the recipes to make them really tasty for tiny taste buds by adding even more organic fruit and a squeeze of agave nectar. We'd love you to try our new recipes and let us know what your little one thinks"
Tee2072 asked Is there a list of Tescos that have them? Or at least geographical areas? Being in Belfast, I don't have a convenient ASDA or a Waitrose at all.
"Hi there, sadly we don?t know exactly which stores will have our products. We recommend heading to the larger stores where there's more likely to be the space in the fridges for our dairylicious range. I hope this helps".
cassell said; I'm disappointed looking at the links that they gave put agave nectar in all of them, just because it's organic it's still essentially pure sugar. My reason for buying/trying these would be because of no added sugar which is a little misleading as they do have added sugar just not 'refined'. A shame as the pouches etc are good.
"Hi there, we're sorry you?re disappointed. Lots of mums + little ones told us that our yoghurts, fromage frais and rice puddings weren't tasty enough ? that's why we added loads more yummy fruit and a squeeze of agave nectar. We used agave because it is naturally sweet and is a store cupboard ingredient that you can find in supermarkets. If you'd like to chat to us more about this, please pop us a note via our Contact Us form and our Customer Care team will get back to you"
StarlightMcKenzie asked How much is a months supply? My DS (7 months) is currently getting through 3 pouches at a time.
"A month's supply is around 1 Ella's pouch or finger food pack per day, the winner will also get one of our fab money-can't-buy cow print cools bags! I hope this helps"
And finally SolomanDaisy asked Ooh, are these going to be available outside the UK? I've never bought any of their products, products but would love to be able to buy stuff with agave rather than sugar or sweeteners.
"Our dairylicious tastes are only in the UK at the moment. Head to our Around the World page to find out where you can keep up to date with all the latest Ella's news in your country (including what fab new food you can buy) www.ellaskitchen.co.uk/around-the-world/ "
Hope that helps everyone!
