Finally got around to drinking it Grin

  1. Which vie variant did you try- white or rose? What did you think?

I tried the Rose, I thought it was lovely, nice and refreshing and almost like a soft drink.

  1. How would you describe the taste of vie to you friends?

I would say it was like a really nice adult type soft drink, wouldn't say it really tasted like wine, to me.

3.would you recommend it to them?if so, why?if not, why?
I have some friends I would recommend this to, because they are mums like myself that have to wake for school run and wouldn't want a groggy head, or the inconvenience of a hangover, then I have other friends that wouldn't see the point of drinking low alcohol wine, they drink to get drunk, so I wouldn't recommend this to those friends.

  1. What would be the perfect 'vie' time for you?

I would think on a hot summers day on a picnic or sitting out in the garden.

  1. Did you know blossom hill vie has 30% fewer calories than. Blossom hill still wine?

No, I wasn't aware this can only be a good thing for me!Grin

  1. Nice as it is to drink, I think if I was buying wine, I would just go for normal wine, if for any reason I couldn't drink ( pregnancy/driving) I would just choose completely non alcoholic drinks, so for me, it's probably not worth buying again, I would be more inclined to buy it if it was 100% alcohol free.

Just to say, a friend of mine came over for a few hours tonight, we were celebrating her wonderful exam results with fish and chips. Because she was driving she had a small glass of the Vie whilst I had a glass of regular wine, she was really impressed, said it tasted beautiful, and she would be keeping an eye out for it in future. :)

I had to wait a few days after my bottle arrived to try it, as i was on a strong course of antibiotics, well worth the wait though.

1)which vie variant did you try, white or rose, what did you think?
I tried the white vie and was really surprised with how nice it tasted, not normally a wine drinker, but this went down very well :)

2)How would you describe the taste of vie to your friends?
I would say that it is a refreshing wine drink, that is sweet and fruity, and goes down well and that no mixer is needed with it.

3)Would you recommend it to them? if so why, if not why not?
Yes i would recommend this white vie to them as it is a lovely glass of wine that doesn't leave a nasty after taste or leave your mouth feeling horrible and dry

4)What would be the perfect vie time for you?
Is their a perfect time to drink this, in my opinion it's a perfect drink at any time, glass with a meal, few drinks alone after the kids are in bed to help me unwind and relax and great for sharing with friends ( a few bottles may be needed if sharing though )

5)Did you no that blossom hill vie has 30% fewer calories than blossom hill still wine?
Yes i did no which i think is fantastic and have told a few friends who are currently on diets and their impressed.

6)Any other thoughts you'd like to share?
I am glad that i was sent this to try as i don't normally drink any wine as i find it gives me a hangover and always leaves my mouth with a nasty after taste and feeling dry.
This drink didn't, it's a lovely refreshing drink that is perfect to have at anytime, and is one that I will be drinking again for when i want a nice drink in the evenings to relax once kids are asleep, and it is definatly a drink for summer partys and bbq with family and friends

I had the Rose. It was actually really nice! Even dh liked it.

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?

It is fruity but not too sweet, with a tiny but if sparkle. It is very refreshing.

  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would. It has actually surprised me how much I did enjoy it. I think I need to try the white now so you can send me more if you like Wink

  1. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you?

After a hard day at work. I could have a glass without the hazy head in the morning.

  1. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine?

I didn't know that and although I wouldn't say that it would be my sole reason for buying it (I'm afraid taste always comes first) it would make me think about choosing Blossom Hill Vie over other wines.

  1. Any other thoughts you'd like to share?

I have to say I like the fact I could drink it and not have a hazy head in the morning. It is something that I may consider having on a weeknight if I ever fancy a glass.
I think Blossom Hill have hit onto a winner here

  1. Which Vie variant did you try - white or rose? What did you think?

I had the Rose. Smelt very fruity on opening and pouring. Was glad I received what I had requested

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?

Fruity, light and more-ish. Light sparkle but this does fade. Best to drink the bottle in a day or two after opening (I'm assuming there are folk like me who take more than an evening to drink a bottle of wine!)

Potential lethal to those who aren't very good with alcohol (like me!) who can get a bit tipsy after one glass (erm...like me!).Because it's so light and fruity you can sometimes forget you are drinking an alcoholic beverage!

  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?

Would definitely recommend it. Great for a lunch time tipple, or after work if you didn't fancy anything too heavy.

  1. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you?

I feel quite naughty having a small glass in the middle of the day - but I do think it makes for a great lunchtime tipple.

  1. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine?

No idea.

  1. Any other thoughts you'd like to share?

Think I should try the white to compare...any chance of another bottle? Wink

  1. Which Vie variant did you try - white or rose? What did you think?

I tried the white, I thought it was really lovely. I'm not a big drinker and prefer lighter wines and I was very impressed so will most likely be buying it in the future! I'd love to try the rose version too.

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?

I would describe it as light, fruity and sweet. It tastes a bit like flat lambrini but MUCH nicer.
  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend it. It's really enjoyable when chilled and worth a try!
  1. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you?

Sitting in the garden on a warm summer evening, spending time with friends and having a gossip!

  1. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine? I didn't until my sister pointed it out on the bottle, it made me like it even more!

1. Which Vie variant did you try - white or rose? What did you think?
The white. I thought it was really nice - I love very sweet, fruity drinks so this was right up my alley.

2. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?
Very sweet, tastes of pears.

3. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend this wine, but only in certain situations due to the low alcohol content (I think one of the attractions of a glass of wine is the relaxing effect of the alcohol). For example, I have friend who likes to join in for a glass of wine, but really does not like to get tipsy. I think she would appreciate a light, sweet-tasting low alcohol wine like this. This would also be an appropriate wine to have over lunch, especially if it is too hot out for alcohol, or you need to get back to work/other activities after lunch.

4. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you?
I imagine drinking this on a hot summer's day at lunch or in the afternoon.

5. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine?
I did notice this on the bottle. Caloric content probably wouldn't be a factor that would influence me when choosing a wine, but I will keep it in mind.

6. Any other thoughts you'd like to share?
The sweetness of this wine will put some people off (my boyfriend thought it was awful for that reason) but for those who enjoy a sweet wine this is quite pleasant, especially as it doesn't have the harsh after taste of full alcohol white wine.

  1. Which Vie variant did you try - white or rose? What did you think?

I tried the White. Shared the bottle with my 18-year old daughter, it disappeared quite quickly and didn't feel as though we'd over-indulged which was good!

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?

Light, fruity and refreshing.

  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, especially if they didn't want to feel as though they'd drunk too much and needed to keep a clear head.

  1. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you?

Maybe a family picnic or barbeque, where you wanted to celebrate with a little wine, but didn't want the hangover to go with it for the rest of the day.

  1. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine?

Yes, but to be honest that wouldn't be a consideration if I was purchasing a bottle. I was a little concerned to read the description ' Reduced alcohol wine based drink with flavourings.' I would like to know what the flavourings are and think that allergy sufferers would definitely need to know this information.

  1. Any other thoughts you'd like to share?

As a complete lightweight when it comes to alcohol consumption, it was nice to have a few glasses of wine without the associated hangover. On the whole, quite enjoyable - thank-you.

  1. Which Vie variant did you try - white or rose? What did you think?

We tried the rose. Five of us shared the bottle. I really liked it. Thought it was sweet and pleasant with no nasty aftertaste. My mum thought it smelled of strawberries. My dh thought it was too sweet as he prefers dry wines, he thought it was bland. Other two testers enjoyed it.

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?

I would describe it as very pleasant and suited to people like me, who don't usually drink much wine, or aren't too keen on a high alcohol content. I would say it was sweet, flowery and fruity.

  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes , I would reccommend it foir the reasons above.

  1. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you?

We enjopyed it with some pizzas before going out to see a show. I would also drink it on summer evenings.

  1. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine?

Calorie consideration wouldn't really be an issue for me. However, i do feel alocohol is wasted calories. My dh who would proably benefit more from a low calorie wine probably wouldn't choose to drink this again.

  1. Any other thoughts you'd like to share?

Clearer and more detailed labelling would be good. I would buy this as an alternative drink to the schloer type stuff I usually drink instead of wine.

Thanks very much for letting us test it

  1. Which Vie variant did you try - white or rose? What did you think?

I tried the Rose. I was pleasantly surprised actually, I'm not a big drinker, I rarely drink outside of special occasions so it was a nice treat to sit down at the end of the day with a small glass.

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?

A nice fruity taste, without the horrible acidity some wines can have. Even after being open a few days in the fridge it still tasted crisp.

  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?

If they asked then I suppose I would. I liked the taste rather than any specific marketing gumpf. Tbh, as I'm not a big drinker I can't say I noticed it being particularly light Blush. Am clearly a massive lightweight. But as I'm still bfing a ten month old, I didn't feel as guilty as I might otherwise have done in having a little drink.

  1. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you?

Ignoring the tackyness of the question, I sat and drank this after the drudgery was finished for the day, all the dc in bed, washing machine on and reading my book MNing

  1. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine?

No. It's not calories that interest me tbh, and it wouldn't make me choose it over a different product- there are no calories in wine, to dispell that myth and to try and make me believe otherwise would be wrong Wink

  1. Any other thoughts you'd like to share?

I don't know wether this is a product alkready available or if the bottle we got was a mock up. But I think it might be good to make it more prominent that this is a low % wine. I'm not at all clued up on the normal % so it wouldn't necessarily stand out to me as a 'light' wine just from the label that was present. Also, and this is just me, the name 'Vie' just grates for some reason. It sounds like it should be on the shelf with the Tena Lady. But all in all, I did enjoy the bottle I had and will probably buy it again, so many thanks :)

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends? light fruity and has a nice after taste

  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not? yes definitely. I'm not usually a rose drinker but would definitely get this for summer. The low alcohol but "proper wine" taste really impressed me.

  1. What would be the perfect 'Vie time' for you? nice quiet evening, with the dh, a meal and a glass or two - and it could be a work night Shock

  1. Did you know Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine? no (and sorry but not really something I would consider)

  1. Any other thoughts you'd like to share? I'm converted. I like that it doesn't have that sharp or vinegary taste often found with rosé. Quite a bit sweeter than I expected (good) and I liked the light fizz. Not "fizzy" or "sparkling" as such, just nice and light.

I would describe the wine as very sweet and light. I could taste a fruity strawberry flavour. It also had a slight fizz to it which was nice.

I would recommend the rose wine as it isn't as strong as the usual rose wine i drink and didn't leave me with a headache the next day. It had a light, crisp taste which i think will be good for people who enjoy drinking wine but dont want the hangover feeling the next day.

  2. Summery, not the sweetest of rose - it still tastes like wine instead of fruit juice.
  3. Yes. It is a good alternative to fully alcoholic wine, more of a treat than sparkling fruit juice.

  1. Which Vie variant did you try - white or rose? What did you think?

I tried white Blossom Hill Vie.Elegant and Fruity one! I loved it! So light and fruity! I usually choose white wines and this bottle of white Blossom Hill Vie with reduced alcohol was sweet and fruity, very refreshing with lovely aftertaste.Loved it!

  1. How would you describe the taste of Vie to your friends?

Light and fruity wine based drink with lovely pear and apricot taste with right sweetness and pleasant aftertaste.

  1. Would you recommend it to them? If so, why? If not, why not?

I definitely will reccomend this lovely wine based drink to my friends, because sometimes you want to drink something with low alcohol, but all drinks which have 5-5,5% alcohol usually are cider, bear or different premixed cocktails. Blossom Hill Vie is something completely new and different. Some new experience to enjoy wine with less alcohol. My friends, who are also mum, would love this wine, because you can have one more glass without guilt or fear that you can get drunk!

For me it doesn't matter how much calories are in Blossom Hill Vie, I don't count calories and if I like something which is tasty no matter drink or food I will have it, because life is too short to have compromises, I like tasty food and tasty drinks,it is my guilty pleasure!

  1. White, and it was lovely. I'm not much of a white wine drinker as I usually find it too dry for me. When I do drink it I usually go for a sweet one, and then I can only manage half a glass because it gets sickly. This was neither dry nor sickly and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

  1. I don't know, fresh? Not sure how to tell the notes etc.

  1. Yes, because it tastes nice, the low alcohol thing isn't so important (though I suppose that is actually why I like it as the grapes will need less fermenting to be less alcoholic and so the taste is less harsh)

  1. Well I don't drink very often, in fact the only time I do is when my best friend comes round for a chat so I suppose that would be the perfect time for me.

  1. No, but I don't care, I don't worry about calories.
