We've been asked by Cadbury to find 70 MNers who'd like to EGG-clusively try out their EGG-citing new chocolate Easter treat before anyone else gets the chance! Grin

Cadbury say: "Kids love chocolate and it puts a smile on their face but do they really appreciate that it's a 'treat' as much as you used to? We believe that new Cadbury Egg n Spoon will change that. Cadbury Egg n Spoon is a purple egg carton containing four individually wrapped eggs. You bite off the top of the egg to reveal the cracked top. Two mini spoons are provided in the pack to scoop out a light fluffy mousse inside the egg."

We're looking for UK based Mumsnetters who have at least one child aged 5-11 and who love a chocolatey treat.

Selected testers will be sent a pack of the new Cadbury Egg n Spoon for them to hide their DCs to try and to then add their feedback to a thread on Mumsnet.

So if you'd like to take part please sign up here

Everyone who is a tester and who adds their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will win £250 worth of John Lewis vouchers as a thank you.

Thanks and good luck

MNHQ

Right, done it again, but again I didn't get "thank you for submitting" page, just straight to "Mumsnet online surveys and product tests" page, which seems a bit odd. Would you mind checking? I put my nickname as StealthPolarBear, as that's who I usually am on MN

FrequentFlyerRandomDent · 31/01/2013 20:16

Signed up. I did not tell the DCs just in case no EGG-citing treat for us.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/01/2013 20:28

tinkfairy · 31/01/2013 20:57

Oh no. I didn't get a thank you for submitting your survey page either. Does that mean mine might not have gone in? It was also enough to make me want to get some today. I stopped at the local Sainsbury and they didn't have any left so we went to the Tesco and they didn't have any either came straight home as it was clearly a sign it wasn't meant to be. I never considered once trying a third supermarket. Honest.

SquirtedPerfumeUpNoseInBoots · 31/01/2013 22:51

stealth MNHQ I don't ever get Thanks for Submitting page. Always straight to product tests page. I think. Is this why I never get picked for anything?

Skyebluesapphire · 31/01/2013 23:00

Mine went straight to that page too but doesn't it always? Not sure...

Tigerbomb · 01/02/2013 00:44

mwahahahhah

My spell worked... if I can't have them - then no one can have them Grin

wannaBe · 01/02/2013 04:51

I'm a bit Hmm that this is essentially just free advertising for cadbury esp as these are already in the shops... hardly exclusive is it? very misleading.

SPBInDisguise · 01/02/2013 05:37

Is this stuff free? Always assumed the companies paid

Groovee · 01/02/2013 09:40

oooh this sounds good...

Tusty · 01/02/2013 09:45

Gutted mine's only 2! He (and I) love chocolate especially Cadbury's

KatieBMumsnet · 01/02/2013 10:08

Hi all sorry for the confusion with submitting the form. If you were sent directly to the Mumsnet product tests page, your form was successfully submitted.
In future we'll make sure we include a 'thank you' page Blush

Thanks for signing up and good luck! Grin

MNHQ

You HAVE to pick me. Just so that when you announce it, Cadburys have to say in their advertising

'Mumsnet poster MmeLINDOR thought that Cadbury Egg n Spoon was a great treat for her family and will henceforth be known as MmeCadbury'

I might even name change for it.

SPBInDisguise · 01/02/2013 11:03

MNHQ thanks for the clarification.
Mme...good plan!
(Or simply "Polar Bears Love Cadburys")
(we do...)

dontwanttobefatandforty · 01/02/2013 12:40

oh just filled this in but didnt see the ages! How daft! Daft I tell you! Angry

thisonehasalittlecar · 01/02/2013 13:47

"Why do you want to try this product?"

Because I have a really hard time getting the dcs to eat chocolate, so I am hoping the novelty of having it shaped like a healthy food will convince them to give it a go.

SPBInDisguise · 01/02/2013 14:09

:o brilliant

jackies4 · 01/02/2013 14:37

SPBInDisguise · 01/02/2013 14:40

SamanthaStormer · 01/02/2013 15:54

Ooooo chocolate! I've got a 5 year old and a 9 year old and they'd think all their birthdays had come at once if they got the chance of this, so I've signed up and keeping my fingers crossed! Grin
