I've had Blossom Hill, Hully. Some of it's been total crap, some of it's been okay.

It's not something I would go out of my way to buy, but a free bottle? Heck yes! Grin [lush]

Where do I sign? Can drink low alcohol wine without messing my knitting up!

Report
Sparklingbrook · 22/01/2013 12:12

I have applied. Won't be picked though I bet.

THERhubarb · 22/01/2013 12:17

I don't normally drink it. We tend to go for red wines like rioja or merlot and can't usually stand 'new world' wines. But it's free so I'll have it Grin

Sparklingbrook · 22/01/2013 12:17

What's everyone putting in the 'Why should we let you have some' box? Confused

Report
THERhubarb · 22/01/2013 12:19

You can send me Hully's too. She doesn't like free stuff so I'll have hers and Sparklingbrook's. I'll probably need around 5 bottles actually to feel the full effects so just send the lot through. I'll do a full critique for you.

If you don't fancy drinking alcohol by the way but want something nice then Schloer is ok. Also Ginger Beer is lovely and you can't gulp it down like most soft drinks, you have to drink it slowly and it's perfect for this weather. Crabbies do a fine non-alcoholic ginger beer.

THERhubarb · 22/01/2013 12:20

"cause it's free"

Report
Kenobi · 22/01/2013 12:20

Hully that's the sound of the normal high alc wine going down.

Report
Sparklingbrook · 22/01/2013 12:20

Oi Rhubarb keep your mitts off my potential bottle of wine. Sad

Report
Kenobi · 22/01/2013 12:21

I thought Crabbies WAS alcoholic? Confused have I been having fake drunk feelings like a 12 year old at an older party?

Frikkin love the stuff though.

Might be a bit late here but very happy to help. You know, in the name of research. Not that I want to drink wine. Much! :)

Report
THERhubarb · 22/01/2013 12:24

Crabbies do both versions. The non-alcoholic stuff comes in an old fashioned bottle.

Sparklingbrook just sent me a PM telling me I was welcome to her wine so make sure Blossom Hill know that.

Done! Free wine! Whoop! Grin

Oh oh sorry guys. Just got an email from Blossom Hill saying that my contributions thus far have been so enlightening that they are going to send the rest of the bottles to me. So there's none left I'm afraid. No point in anyone else completing the survey I'm afraid.

Nothing more to see here now. Off we all trot!

Rhubs I love free stuff

As I said up there^^ I couldn't be paid to drink that, unless if was a grand per glass perhaps.

I'll drink 'owt Hully. Including your bottle Grin

Besides, you can always add vodka you know. I reckon it'd be nice with vodka. Or how about as a cocktail ingredient? Vodka, Blossom Hill and a touch of lime.
