Dettol are looking for 100 Mumsnetters to test the bathroom or kitchen products in their new Dettol Power and Pure range. Here's what the folks at Dettol say about the range: "The New Dettol Power and Pure spray provides powerful cleaning, which penetrates and helps to breakdown tough stains, grease, dirt and soap scum on contact, leaving no chemical residue behind - so no need for rubber gloves and no need to rinse."

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters with at least one child. It doesn't matter whether or not you currently use Dettol products - all are welcome to sign up.

If you're selected to take part, you'll be sent a trigger spay bottle and a pack of wipes for either the kitchen or bathroom (RRP £2.99 and £2.03 respectively). Then Dettol would like you to feedback your thoughts about the products via a feedback thread.

If you would like to take part in this product test, please add your details here.
Everyone who takes part and adds their comments to the feedback thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win £100 of John Lewis vouchers.

Thanks

MNHQ

KatieB could you give me a little nod on the right direction please?

What maximises my chances of being selected?

In the PickMePickMe box I have tried sycophanticness, pleading poverty, wit, persuasion, facts and begging. I think there's only bribery left.

Oh I'm not very experienced at this

I think I might have blown it at pickmepickme box stage Sad

debka · 22/02/2012 12:48

Done.

And if anyone deserves to be picked for this one, surely it's me Grin

Tonksforthememories · 22/02/2012 12:49

Done. Keep putting off cleaning. New things to try will make me actually do it!

ProfCoxWouldGetIt · 22/02/2012 13:44

Done, would be nice to find a cleaner that doesn't burn holes in my clothes when I accidentally spill some.

ChaosTrulyReigns - testers are chosen at random, so no tips I'm afraid. Just keep signing up for product tests and crossing your fingers :)

Oh I went for the subtle approach in the Pickmepickme Box.

"you just never know it might ensure brand loyalty"

ChaosTrulyReigns · 22/02/2012 14:35

Thanks for the headsup KatieB.

But doesn't that make the PickMePickMe box rather superfluous?

Popoozle · 22/02/2012 14:42

Done. Being selected might encourage me to clean our bathroom Grin.

katz · 22/02/2012 14:50

Oh bugger, I didn't know it was a PickMePickMe box either. I can't remember what I said now!

SardineQueen · 22/02/2012 15:29

Well if enough people have bodged it at pickmepickme stage, we'll be in with a chance!

Chaos you could try bribing me. I am in no way connected to MNHQ, as you well know, but am open to bribes. Grin

Eek so I've completed the survey and was starting to fill in the 'pickmepickme' box when my DD (23 weeks currently suffering from a tummy bug and was sleeping on me) woke up and moved so it meant I submitted the form having only filled in 2 1/2 words. Looks like I may have failed in the pickmepickme test Sad

Will this scupper my chances. Can I do it again?

SardineQueen · 22/02/2012 16:42

I expect your pickmepickme is better than mine, 100years, even at just 2.5 words Sad

Popoozle · 22/02/2012 16:48

snala - you missed nothing. The porridge was not nice Sad.

100years · 22/02/2012 16:49

Do you like the fact I've added all that unnecessary information into my post?
