With reference to this thead do let us know who you'd like to try.

As we said, we'll consult more on people who approach us and in that spirit we should let you know that we're planning to have Tana Ramsay on next Monday lunchtime... (she's promoting her new book) so if anyone has any Scheherazade-type feelings shout now!

ImnotMamaGbutsheLovesMe · 07/10/2008 16:49

I don't want anyone on with something to promote unless they are going to pay in shed loads of money to a mumsnet fund for when a mumsnetter really needs our help.

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2008 16:52

interesting this thing to promote business

i mean by and large that is all media exists for

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2008 17:07

what about victoria derbyshire

(testing 123)

combustiblelemon · 07/10/2008 17:13

Ooh yes, Victoria Derbyshire would be good.

ImnotMamaGbutsheLovesMe · 07/10/2008 17:15

Just coming on here gives them promotion. They don't need to have a book out, etc, as people will chat with them and then google for more info and if they like them, will buy their books, DVDs, etc anyway.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/10/2008 17:19

How about Jamie Oliver?

Pinions · 07/10/2008 17:21

Anyone see Jamie Oliver on Loose Women today, felt a bit sorry for him bless his heart.

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2008 17:21

but when you have a book out you have a print run you want quick sales to get it on a list like a top ten to get more exposure to get a bigger print run out
