We’re interviewing Deborah Meaden - what should we ask her?

We’re sitting down with the one and only Deborah Meaden next week, and we’d love your questions.

As well as being a hugely successful entrepreneur and a legendary Dragon, Deborah hosts BBC Radio 5 Live’s The Big Green Money Show and writes brilliant books about money for children and teens. Her book Why Money Matters (for ages 6-9) was an FT Book of the Year 2023 Critics’ Choice, and her latest, Deborah Meaden Talks Money, is aimed at 11-14 year olds.

Hi!
I am a woman about to embark on a business idea with a product that I have created. I am first offering this to the institution I currently work for. I have scrutinised my contract and handbook for any claim they may try to make, but there is nothing in the contract to make it the case they can claim ownership.

My idea is to offer a free trial, to enable me to work on the product and them to be at the forefront of something that is going to revolutionise a widespread issue within our industry. Then offer for a buy in/out.

Does this sound like a good idea? And do you have any advice as a woman, to one who is a little scared, but also excited!
