Sunday Times columnist India Knight will be joining us here on Monday 2nd July from 9-10pm for a live chat. India has just published her first children's book 'The Baby' which is about a big brother's relationship with his new baby sister - an absolute must for second-time parents. If you can't make the chat you can post your questions in advance here.
Hope to see you here on Monday.

Rubyslippers · 02/07/2007 21:08

thanks Lulu! wouldn't miss this

Oggsfrog: Congrats on the 2 stone. Come and ask on pig2twig.co.uk ? I need to know exactly what you?re eating to give you a proper answer. Known stallers include wine and sugar-substitutes, but it could be other stuff? Post a typical few days? menu and we?ll have a look.

John "We just get stuck intae them" Smeaton???

indiaknight · 02/07/2007 21:08

Guttersnipe: I don?t know what I think about this. Theoretically, yes. In practice, makes me feel v uneasy. I like to think I?d somehow find out (though how? By osmosis?) or feel something was not quite right? Sorry, bit of a crap answer.

Blandmum · 02/07/2007 21:09

But what are your views on the 'Big Issues'?

Like Fruit Shoots, and stealing grapes?

India, do you use your agent's life to fill your columns? Or any of your other friends?

UCM · 02/07/2007 21:09

Sorry, hangs handbag in shame corner.

indiaknight · 02/07/2007 21:09

Enid: A mumsnet book about parenting is a brilliant idea, but isn?t there one? Thought I saw it the other day. I?m sadly signed up to write various things for the next four years or so?
Re criticism: it is impossible to care about the opinions of complete strangers - you don?t know them, they don?t know you, they?re excitable enough to confuse your newspaper persona with the real you? It?s really hard to make yourself mind. Also -- although I like fan letters, I wouldn?t be doing my job if there weren?t any nasty ones.

[stuffs face with Dorritos]

I knew this giving up wine was a bad idea! I was supposed to be losing weight!

Aitch · 02/07/2007 21:09

lol, yes i forgot smoker. he is a dish i think.

indiaknight · 02/07/2007 21:09

BL: yes, am writing one now. The playgroup in that book was a majorly toned-down version of a real place, btw.

What are you views on smacking children?

expatinscotland · 02/07/2007 21:10

That's you on your own, Enid. Meaning, you'll have to use your own brain !

Rubyslippers · 02/07/2007 21:10

India
forgive me if this has been asked, or if it has happened, but are you going to publish a collection of your articles?

indiaknight · 02/07/2007 21:10
