iam going on the Mondday

TickledPink · 31/12/2006 14:37

I don't suppose you know who is supporting her?

Hiya, she was fab. I saw her last night. We saw her at Earls Court last year, and she was amazing then, but I don't think there was a dry eye in the arena.

She doesn't have any support, so it's pure Kylie.

I think she may have someone on stage with her one of the dates, one of:

Madonna
Scissor Sisters
Dannii
Jason
Elton John.

Have a great time both of you. You will enjoy it.

GarfieldsGirl · 03/01/2007 20:01

Oh, and be prepared to have to stand in the foyer for ages before they let you up to the seats. They didn't let us up until about 6:45, by which time it was very packed, and people were getting pretty annoyed.

TickledPink · 03/01/2007 20:14

Hello Garfieldsgirl. I am glad you enjoyed it. Can you remember what time it started/finished please?

OP posts:
GarfieldsGirl · 03/01/2007 20:34

Hi. It started about 8 I think. There was an interval at 9:30 for about 15 minutes. It finished at 5 to 11.

TickledPink · 03/01/2007 20:39

Great, thanks as I need to work out what to do about catching the train home. Do you have any other good advice please? Is it worth not arriving at Wembley until say 7 pm (or later)when people are already getting seated? We have seats so know they will be there no matter what time we get there?

Have you been to tfl.gov.uk journey planner?

I printed out all the alternatives and took them with me just in case we missed the last train. (It was pulling into the station as we were running down the steps, phew!)

We got in quite early - just after 5, and it was a pain that we couldn't get to our seats, so yes, probably would be a good idea to get there later. Most people were in the building by 6:30, so shouldn't be any queues getting there at 7. The arena's quite small too, so it won't take long to get to your seats wherever you're sat.

Also, there were no queues for the toilets after about 7:30.

If you're looking for somewhere to eat beforehand, we went to the Blue Check, which is only about 5 minutes walk away. TBH I think it's about the only place around, but reasonably priced, and they had Kylie on too.

Thanks GarfieldsGirl. I think we may get there a bit later rather than hanging around. We are driving to a nearby town so that the trains run all night now so thats one less thing to worry about. Have been to wembley a few years ago to see Duran Duran but were standing so looking forward to sitting this time. Thanks for the advice. Its great to talk to someone who has already been and I am really looking forward to it. Now need to line up another concert to look forward to after this one!

Oh very of Duran Duran. I wanted to go, but all of my friends are too young to know who they are.

I already have Girls Aloud lined up in Brighton in May. (Will be the 3rd time I see them.)

You really will have a fab time. Have you seen her before?

TickledPink · 05/01/2007 12:25

LOL at Girls aloud as my friends are prob too old to see them. Have not seen Kylie before so really looking forward to it. Saw Robbie last year and Scissor sisters before that so they take some beating.

OP posts:
GarfieldsGirl · 05/01/2007 18:06

I saw Robbie last year too. Were you at Milton Keynes? Was the 3rd time I'd had tickets, but the 1st time I'd managed to see him. Scissor Sisters are one that I'd like to see.

TickledPink · 05/01/2007 21:45

When I went to see Duran Duran in 2005, Scissor Sisters were supporting them as it was when they were starting out over here. Saw them again at the Brighton Dome and loved them. Very flamboyant sp? Saw Robbie at Milton Keynes also. Bet you were gutted to have had tickets in the past and not managed to go. Would love to see REM.
