Hello all,
Piers Morgan, former Editor of the Daily Mirror and News of the World, and now Executive Editor of First News, a weekly newspaper aimed at 9-12 year olds, is coming to Mumsnet for an online chat on Tuesday 10th October at 12.30pm. So make sure you make a note in your diary to log on and post a question. If you can't make the actual event do post your question in advance here. Whilst he can't promise to answer every one he'll do what he can (and we reckon he should be able to type quite fast being a journo and all that).
Best,
MNHQ

ooh, ooh - started at the beginning and he HAS answered my question and he doesn't think I'm too old and he doesn't like Patricia Fcukwit - he sounds like a lovely man

loving your question Caligula

Dear niceglasses,

Gordon Brown takes politics seriously, and I like that. I've had enough of pop stars running the country and taking us into illegal wars. Gordon's very charming away from his job, too.

ginmummy · 10/10/2006 13:10

GhoulsToo - 'Did you threaten to overrule him?' was a question asked by Jeremy Paxman the then Tory Home Secretary Michael Howard on Newsnight with regards to Derek Lewis and prison reforms. He asked the question a recor 13 times and Howard never gave a straight answer, always sidestepping, which is what Piers is doing with Slug's question.

hunkermunster · 10/10/2006 13:10

What do you want on your headstone?

[morbid as heck]

JustineMumsnet · 10/10/2006 13:11

Piers,
Did you know that a famous parenting guru has threatened to close Mumsnet and is still planning to sue us for alleged libel because of some comments made about her on our discussion boards. Do you have a view on the freedom of speech versus private reputations issue (particularly on the internet) and/ or any advice?

Dear moaningpaper,

I saw Alastair Campbell talking about depression on TV this morning and laughed. Sexing up the Iraq war dossier left a lot of poor innocent people in Iraq pretty depressed too, Alastair.

QueenEvil · 10/10/2006 13:11

Dear Piers,

My husband does not have endless enthusiasm or patience,is crap at any sport, especially so at those which involve "taking wickets", "scoring goals" and "hitting a winning serve". Please explain why you feel he is not a good father for not having these qualities?

Dear slug,

First News is an equal opportunities paper, right down the line. We have as many girls reading us as boys, and take that very seriously to ensure they get as much girl-related stories/issues as the boys.
