Ooh, I love the Faraday Lectures ... my dh used to organise the Birmingham ones, so I always got to see them. Well worth seeing imo.

Beetrootfultoyourself · 08/01/2006 22:07

your dh did?? in what way? My dh produces the whole event and the tour.

He was the local organiser for the IEE - sorted the venue, liaised with the national organisers, helped rig the set, organised the meals afterwards, blah blah blah. It's a few years back mind so they may do it all differently now.

Beetrootfultoyourself · 09/01/2006 08:59

ahh, he may well know my dh then

WigWamBam · 10/01/2006 16:01

Tamba, it's in Birmingham on 14 March - get yourself a ticket, well worth seeing.

Beety, dh may well have come across your dh ... although it's been a long while! The last one he did was the Channel Tunnel one - From A to B without Sea, which was a whole ten years ago. How time flies ...

Beetrootfultoyourself · 10/01/2006 16:03

WWB..that was Dh's first. (he thought up the name)

Tamba, yes book a ticket if you fancy seeing it.

How do I get a ticket? Fancy coming with me WWB?

WigWamBam · 10/01/2006 19:06

I would have loved to have gone but I can't actually make the 14th, dd has bought the school newsletter home tonight and they have scheduled an Inspire workshop for her class on that day (where the parents go into school and spend the day working with their children).

You can book tickets by clicking the time you want here though.

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 10/01/2006 19:11

Beetrootfultoyourself · 10/01/2006 19:46

LadyS, I take my kids every year so it can appeal to as young as 7. But idealy i guess 10+.

If you take kids then letme know as I can ask dh to get them involved in the experiments. This is easier to organise in the evenings.
