RachelMumsnet · 10/01/2011 18:20

Paul McKenna is joining us for a live webchat on Wednesday evening between 7 and 8pm. Paul will be chatting about his latest book, I Can Make you Happy which claims it can make you feel happier than you had ever imagined.

Paul will also be happy to answer questions on his 'I can Make you Thin' programme which he says has helped 71% of people who have tried it successfully lose weight and keep it off. He will be taking over the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday 19th February to host his first Live Weight Loss Seminar.

Paul is Britain's best selling non-fiction author and is published in 30 languages as well as hosting television shows and seminars in hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and motivation.

Join us on Wednesday evening to chat to Paul, or send in your questions in advance to this thread and he'll attempt to answer as many questions as possible over the hour.

Deafworm · 12/01/2011 20:13

do you think pp will mind we tried to enter her how to?

BecauseImWorthIt · 12/01/2011 20:13

Did he swear at us? Did his nice face suddenly slip?!

Come on, Rachel - what did he say?!

anythingwithagiraffeonit · 12/01/2011 20:13

During my work in TV I met Paul McKenna several times. He behaved awfully, like a spoilt child and often refused to go on air if things weren't exactly to his liking. I also once witnessed him kick a small table across the room.

Can you not use one of your own techniques to become a happier, more fulfilled person who perhaps doesn't behave in this way!?

whomovedmychocolate · 12/01/2011 20:13

jonicomelately - I think answering your question would have been a career limiting move - you don't bite the hand that feeds and if someone is willing to pay then don't slate them online is a generally good principle to live by IME. :)

FWIW I think public spending on consultants generally is way out of hand.

tammybear · 12/01/2011 20:15

I would like to be put in the hat for the prize draw!

I was told to respond on the thread, so presuming this is it, unless I've missed it completely lol.

franke · 12/01/2011 20:16

OMG that's the first time I've ever asked a question and he answered it!!!

If nothing else, I feel motivated to dust off my copy of ICMYT and see if I can get on with it this time.

(Do you think he hypnotised us all not to be rude?)

solo · 12/01/2011 20:17

I think the ladies at MNHQ accidentally wrote messages under PM's name so deleted them, that's all. Nothing sinister :)

jonicomelately · 12/01/2011 20:18

I was genuinely interested in hearing what he had to say Pauls's fave mnetter whomovedmychocolate.

whomovedmychocolate · 12/01/2011 20:21

I'm sure you were jonicomelately :)

Solo MNHQ were probably typing WMMC SHUT UP WITH THE BISCUIT RELATED FLIRTATION Angry
