I hope the literary TC will not object to being referred to as a thing.

Sybil is beautiful, and TC’s expression is communicating so much in that photo Xmas Grin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 27/12/2019 09:42

Sister and BIL have just left this morning. TC tried to stow away with them. He even allowed himself to be stroked while in the back of the car. Shock

He is a Devil 😈.

AnneKipanki · 27/12/2019 10:49

He loves to taunt you @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats x

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/12/2019 10:56

I bet their driving home thinking what a cute little pussy cat he is.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 27/12/2019 11:41

Just been to Battersea cats for a visit. They have a (gorgeous) female Bengal cross, 6/7 years old for rehoming (Nutmeg). On the door to the pen was a sign saying '3 second rule applies'. This is a warning to say offer hand for 3 seconds to check reaction Grin.
So if you live near Old Windsor you too could have a TC.

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 27/12/2019 14:57

Weren't you tempted? Did you pass the 3 second rule?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 27/12/2019 15:32

Sadly (for very good reasons) you're not allowed to touch the cats - but I would have done given a chance Grin.

I looked on the Battersea site ....... so many black cats ! Sad

And many of the cats are "able to live with older DC/teens , no dogs,no other cats" so their chances of re homing dwindle .

Thank you @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats for both your threads, I lost my little man in September and your thread has cheered me up and made me smile, I love cats but I'm not ready for another yet, but I love reading about all yours and other posters cats. Here is Ralph 💙 he was such a sweet bit cheeky boy and also had wobbly cat syndrome, but this also added to his charm.

Thank you @RonniePasas it was such a bad day :( I watched the car run him over and he died right in front of me, still a bit traumatic, he was Ross worthy but I thinks he got spooked by a dog (even though he lived with 2) one day we will have another but I'm just not ready yet, and we are moving soon and not near a road :)

7Worfs · 28/12/2019 18:18

Ralph was a beautiful boy, lovely photos.

I have no pets currently to contribute, but 20 years ago I had the sweetest, daftest Siamese boy who I had trained to jump and hang off my raised arm, his vertical leap was spectacular.

7Worfs · 28/12/2019 18:21

Oh, and I used to wrap him around my neck like a fur collar... I wonder what would happen if someone tried this with TC. 🤔

sweetkitty · 30/12/2019 00:11

Just catching up with the Christmas antics. I am slave to 3 cats, the youngest Devil-Kitten (a black rescue kitten he’s gorgeous with the sleekest black fur everyone should have a black rescue kitten) anyway he has decided he is now a dog. Despite being a house-cat, he now waits at the back door twice a day with the dog for pee-pees. He goes out with her (doesn’t pee obviously) but has a two minute mooch then comes straight back in. Miaows like mad if he gets locked out. Night-time is Dreamie time, he also got his first taste of turkey recently and has taken to trying to climb up the fridge shelves whenever they are open.

I reckon TC is a great big softie, if you tried to put a Christmas jumper on a lot of cats you wouldn’t have had a hand left!

overnightangel · 30/12/2019 00:21

Looking forward to the inevitable Attenborough documentary on TC ...

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/01/2020 10:02

Apologies for the lack of TC updates. Had NDN over for NYE dinner last night and he told us that TC had developed a limp (front right apparently for those requiring some realistic verisimilitude) so is under house arrest while on metacam. He did apparently growl at the vet during the examination (TC not NDN) so is clearly on form.

I should add that when Basil was examined by the same vet for a limp last year he purred so loudly that she couldn't hear his heart beat.

So a very happy new year to all - but I'm afraid any updates for the next week or so are unlikely.

Happy New Year @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats .
Thanks for the update. We wish TC a speedy recovery.

7Worfs · 01/01/2020 10:13

Happy New Year, Grumpy!
Even in updates without photos you really paint us a word picture! Xmas Smile

JKScot4 · 01/01/2020 12:42

Speedy recovery TC, you gotta keep grumpy and the gang on their toes 😻

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/01/2020 13:35

Speedy recovery TC!

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 01/01/2020 15:40

He's hurt his front right paw? His fighting hand! How could that have happened?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/01/2020 15:55

@AllYouGoodGoodPeople

How could that have happened?

Basil, Sybil, Karl & Lenny are keeping mum. Grin

OP posts:
AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 01/01/2020 18:48

As long as they aren't showing signs of damage from said hurt paw! But if it's not them and it's not you and it's not the chickens - is there another TC victim that you are unaware of?

Olinguito · 02/01/2020 14:04

Oh poor litttle TC. He's probably got repetitive strain injury from all the pawing at your windows.
