I hope the literary TC will not object to being referred to as a thing.

Our cats appear to be happily communing with TC today. I suspect it won't last however since the band that seems to tie their friendship together will be the very strangler of their amity Grin.

They'll come round, he's adorable.

CassandraCross · 31/05/2020 13:57

TC looks rather subdued in that picture, doing his best please feel sorry for me act, "let me into your utopia, you know you love me really" and when they do let him in......

purrswhileheeats · 31/05/2020 16:18

Poor TC sitting with his head bowed looking forlorn 😿

Basil looks very erm, 'square' in that picture Shock Right angles are obviously the way to go to ward off unwelcome visitors.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 04/06/2020 22:25

I was working at the front of the house today - only to spot TC making a break in attempt. I persuaded him to change his ways. or so I thought
30 minutes later DW found the persistent little sod inside our house tucking into the cat food. Shock.

Mind you - NDN did find Lenny and Sybil in his (open backed) workshop today Grin.

TC came back to see us later in the afternoon looking very smug.

Aw he looks so grumpy and so cute 🐈

Defiantly41 · 05/06/2020 00:22

... and solid, very solid Smile

YetAnotherSpartacus · 05/06/2020 08:46

Mission successful! Well done TC!

7Worfs · 05/06/2020 09:34

Well I mean the door was open and everything... what’s a thug cat supposed to do? Grin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 05/06/2020 09:55

TC has NOT won the war. Sucessfully breaking in yesterday (and stealing supplies) was merely winning a battle Grin.

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 05/06/2020 10:06

Yeah, he'll have won the war when he and Sybil have a candlelit dinner at your dining table and spend the night curled up together on your bed :)

Supersimkin2 · 05/06/2020 15:16

Don't blame little TC, he just thought restaurants have reopened post-lockdown. Confused with dates, who isn't.

BinkySodPlop · 05/06/2020 16:46

Awwww, he's not lost his "winter coat", has he? Grin.

CassandraCross · 05/06/2020 18:19

You mean TC has won yet one more battle in the campaign for dominance of the Grumpy household, he's playing the long game every victory is a step forward!

Yeah, he'll have won the war when he and Sybil have a candlelit dinner at your dining table and spend the night curled up together on your bed

I foresee that happening sooner than you think, with you as the maitre'd Grumpy Grin

UncleShady · 05/06/2020 18:52

How many times a day does he need to 'win a battle' before he's won the war?

Supersimkin2 · 05/06/2020 23:13

Even when @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats is awoken by the Facehugger position, as performed by an 8-kilo Bengal cat, he will only grudgingly concede that just one rogue agent performed a lone incursion, never to be repeated.

Morale is all in wartime. Grumpy's stance is truly Churchillian in the face of the Cat Who Acts Like Hitler.

Incidentally, Churchill changed the law on Endangered Species during WWII because someone gave him a tiger cub and he insisted it lived with him in Downing Street. The episode was the beginning of what is now CITES, the international convention that protects the larger kitty.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/06/2020 12:39

Loving all your responses Grin.

I just opened our front door to let Poodley out.

No prizes for guessing who was waiting to come in.

UncleShady · 06/06/2020 13:13

It gives me such joy to think of Karl walking around like that, knowing there's people he will see out on his travels who think he's been deliberately groomed to look like that Grin
