To harness the power of Mumsnet to make a little girl's Christmas...

Posting here for traffic because I am clearly not BU Xmas Wink

My friend's DD has lost her beloved Floffel. Floffel is her seal cuddly toy from babyhood and will never be found again as Floffel was lost overseas.

Friend's DD has written to Father Christmas asking for Floffel back. Nothing else on the list - just Floffel.

They don't effing make Floffel anymore Xmas Shock Xmas Sad Xmas Confused

Friend's DD as been through the wringer lately - can't go into details as would be outing but suffice to say she could really really do with a boost.

Please please please wonderful people of Mumsnet - if you happen to have an Aurora Naturally seal like the one in the photo hanging around your house (it's flannel not plush apparently and has the word 'naturally' on its bum) that you'd be willing to sell/give away it would truly honestly make this little girl's Christmas.

TIA Flowers

Have you contacted the manufacturer? They may have one hanging around in a corner.

DeathByMascara · 13/12/2017 20:08

This is heart wrenching! Poor little girl. I’m so sad I don’t have one in the house, but am watching in hope that the MN Mafia can pull it out of the bag!

Elderpond · 13/12/2017 20:08

Oh god that letter is so sad.

Fitzsimmons · 13/12/2017 20:08

I'm sure there's a Facebook page for lost toys. I know you're not seeking the lost one but a post on there might help.

DailyMaileatmyshit · 13/12/2017 20:08

What brand is floffle and where was he bought from?

aaahhhBump · 13/12/2017 20:09

It looks like floffels been well fed on his travels

LannieDuck · 13/12/2017 20:11

There's a Facebook group that specialises in this sort of thing for disabled children. I don't know whether they have a policy around doing it for non-disabled children, but you could contact the group owners to ask?

Bicnod · 13/12/2017 20:11

It's not that one sadly - the one in question is flannel not plush.

Brand is Aurora Naturally.

Thanks for all the good vibes!

Will look into contacting manufacturer as well...
