evry time I read htat i wonder

  1. has ht emother tripped out and gone mad?
  2. is she too idle to cook?
  3. is she an old alcy who dramnk all the beer herself?
  4. Is it a total fabrication to justify going out for tea?

they'd better replicate Sophie's chequered tights just right in the stage version or there'll be trouble

roseability · 27/08/2008 22:24

My DH thinks the mum is shagging around and fabricates the story to fool her other half

Judith Kerr was on BBC Breakfast news this morning - she siad there are no hidden meanings - its just about a tiger who came to tea !!

So in reply to Musica's comment of four years ago I always wondered that about the cat too. Do you think the hunched man with his back to us is sinister?

Fabulous thread. Love the idea of a Terry Thomas voice - will definitely do that in future. Lol at the idea of the boy from the grocer being replaced with the Tesco online delivery man.

DH is now often known as 'the tiger' by ds as dh has a habit of scoffing all the food before we get chance.

Heifer · 27/08/2008 23:06

Not to mention the time I have wasted reading (first deciphering) and replying to your posts

Dh says he has always been quite disturbed by the fact that the tiger drinks all the water from the tap. Surely he couldn't exhaust the entire mains system?

edam · 27/08/2008 23:20

He was clearly a very thirsty tiger, jennifer.
