I am male, mid 20's and grew up with this technology.
Wondering what something means?
Wondering how to do something?
Wondering how your kids did something?
Wondering if you should let your kids do something?

I don't think I've ever noticed that. But it would do for every time I've thought, I wish I could just go to my last post in this thread.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 15/02/2015 09:58

Got to the point where an mnbot was suggested and zoomed to reply. I think this is a splendid idea. They aren't difficult to write, just time consuming to shove in all of the responses. Between lots of us we could really speed up the process.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeease can we make one?

BertieBotts · 15/02/2015 10:09

Yep you have to turn it on. But it's not working at the moment.

I am also bemused at why my lack of a penis means I don't understand something I've been using for about 20 years Confused maybe I don't understand because I don't have a penis - is that it?

MagratsHair · 15/02/2015 10:34

What's more, the one comment I made with somewhat of a hidden meaning, not one person has picked up on.

Oh ffs how pompous are you?!

We don't care enough to go searching for hidden meanings as you are neither interesting nor entertaining enough for that!

I cannot believe this thread is still ongoing. have you lost the password to the iheartu account btw

Magrat, the pomposity was behind my suggestion last night of Kim Il Thingy from N Korea. It occurred to me whilst having a wee. Oh the advantages of having to sit down :)

MagratsHair · 15/02/2015 10:45

Hahahaaaa Grin Grin Giddyon

(Good thing we are not males in our mid twenties who don't have to sit down as often eh)

GiddyOnZackHunt · 15/02/2015 10:51

Sitting down and having a think is always a good option in my book :)

Lweji · 15/02/2015 11:23

I left school with 9 Cs and 4 Ds at GCSE.

Was that supposed to show off? Hmm
Or is it a reverse show off? Grin
Was one of the 4 Ds in logic? Or was it computer science?

Was the hidden message the Kim Jong Il on the google link you posted? Noticed it then and couldn't give a fuck about why it was there. Was it supposed to compare us to North Korea? Meh. Unless you are him. Grin

SoupDragon · 15/02/2015 11:26

What's more, the one comment I made with somewhat of a hidden meaning, not one person has picked up on.

Was it your first post where the hidden meaning was "I am sexist, ageist and arrogant"? If so, I think we all picked up on that one.

EBearhug · 15/02/2015 11:29

SoupDragon, that wasn't really a hidden meaning, was it?

Lweji · 15/02/2015 11:31

OP, the only three possible outcomes on MN to your OP would have been:
a) a resounding fuck off
b) (the picture on the left)
c) this thread

As such, I think it was the best outcome.

I am everything you hate about people on the internet. I am here to help.
SoupDragon · 15/02/2015 11:32

Well, I don't know - he didn't actually say "I'm a twat" so it might have been hidden.

It's difficult to tell as my breasts keep getting in the wAy,

smotheroffive · 15/02/2015 12:17

lweji reverse show off I thought that Grin had to look twice - i thought it was a sympathy beg, like his dead mother, and i wanted to say sorry to BIFI for his awful comment towards her, as that shows true twatedness lack of conscience - but the rest of it was a show-off upownarsedness

he needs feeding....

Rjae · 15/02/2015 13:07

First thing I would do is re-install windows from the disc. If it's a laptop though using an OEM disc will leave you without a license key. Google the make/model for a "restore" procedure as the license key [found on the cert of auth stuck to the bottom] will not work simply by typing it in. Beyond that as someone else said get a copy of Windows 7; or 8.1

Vista came preinstalled so no disc. It's a tower PC and a bit ancient. Vista was latest OS at the time! I have tried system restore and it is unable to complete the function Confused

I have downloaded a hooky copy of windows 7 from torrent and it now runs DSs touchscreen good apart from annoying 'activate now' screen but I think said hooky windows 7 will explode said ancient pc.

Frankly said pc is a pile of crap so I'm looking for a new one anyway.

Thumbwitch · 15/02/2015 13:30

PMSL through most of this thread.

OP - you are naive in the extreme to have even started this thread, and to claim ignorance of why you've been treated the way you have just points to your utter lack of qualifications to "help" anyone here.

Do go away and think about what you've been shown here and try not to piss of people with your lofty "helping" attitude in future.

Blacklight · 15/02/2015 14:00

@BitOutOfPractice

If I ACTUALLY did what you suggested, I honestly think they would sit there in silence.

@GiddyOnZackHunt

It occurred to me whilst having a wee. Oh the advantages of having to sit down.

I like having the choice.

@Rjae

Have you thought about windows 8.1? They've done a great job of cutting down it's footprint in terms of resources and space. imho at least.

So, you'd have preferred the tumbleweed?

SoupDragon · 15/02/2015 14:34

Really? Do you have much experience of women? I don't think any of the ones I know would do that.

Thumbwitch · 15/02/2015 14:44

Oh I don't know - I can imagine that they would have sat there in stunned silence for a few seconds before the real reaction would have kicked in. Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 15/02/2015 14:49

I don't think there would've been stunned silence. I think the best you could hope for would be a polite refusal of your unbelievably rude and patronising kind offer because most people aren't as rude as you don't like confrontation

Any good?

I am not a gamer so no need for whizzy graphics card. Just general stuff.

This is about all I can afford at the moment as I use my ipad for most things and I'd rather put my money on that.
