I have two. I told a friend totally out of the blue that Michael Jackson would be dead six weeks from now, he was. I pointed at the screen and told a friend whilst watching Loose Women that Linda Bellingham would die soon of cancer.
I dunno why i felt compelled to say those things but i felt i needed to.

No criticising, hairsplitting or arguing pleae.

Be brave and tell. :)

One of my children is a surviving twin but they are right handed so it isn't a given the remaining child will be left handed. I always knew if we tried for another baby it would be twins.

After working in the Royal Household for years, I have loads of unbelievable stories- which sadly I am forbidden to share!

DrCoconut · 26/11/2014 19:20

Here's another. My mum met her great grandad even though he died before she was born. After my dad died she had a tough time. My brother had health issues and it made working much difficult. By the time I was 8 or 9 things were a bit better but mum was still not sure about what to do work wise. She had a job in a bakers over lunch times to get a bit of cash but it was nothing like her pre DC profession and she was wondering if going back was a better plan but worried about childcare, could she still do it etc. one day there was no one but her in the bakers and a man came in. He didn't look unusual really but she felt weirdly captivated by him and he had very blue eyes that felt like they were looking into your soul. After making polite small talk he ordered some sausage rolls. Mum had to go to the back to get them. As she went out the man said "you know you can do so much more than this, never underestimate yourself". Mum was a bit surprised but went about getting his order. When she returned he'd gone. She never saw him again and no one else knew of him when she recounted the slightly odd experience to them. Several years later, the incident long forgotten, my mum was at my grandma's. Grandma got out the old family album to show mum who had got back into the family tree. It had been packed away ever ince she inherited it from her mother. Mum had always been fascinated by her great grandad as the stories of him were great, he was a real character. As soon as grandma turned to the page with him on my mum knew that was the man from the bakers. The eyes looking out of the photo were the same and everything. It's really woo but she's not scared. By the time she found out who he was she had got back to work in a similar field to her original one, to some extent inspired by what he'd said. Why wouldn't he look out for her is her explanation.

I've got one which happened last night - random thought thinking about Andy Murray and if he would ever propose to Kim Sears (was just watching Apprentice and the BBC2 show about Apprentice after Apprentice and that thought about Andy popped into my head.

Front page or page 2/3 of newspaper today and he's popped the Q. Coincidence or woo?!

JellyDiamonds · 27/11/2014 15:53

A poster on a other thread a while back posted a very scandalous bit of gossip about one of the younger royals. As scandalous as it was, I didn't feel at all surprised.

Callani · 27/11/2014 17:10

We had a psychic dog as kids - she just knew things.

Me and my sister used to walk her after school but one day she just wouldn't go down the alley. We tried everything to force but she wouldn't budge so we gave up and took her home. We were reading the paper that weekend and saw that a girl was critical in hospital after being attacked in the alley that night - it makes me sick just thinking of it.

Another time she slipped her lead and started running towards the park running across roads and everything whilst we shouted after her. When we caught up about 5 mins later she was fussing over a lad who'd been beaten up and said she'd chased off his attackers.

Oh and when we moved house, a neighbours came round to introduce himself and she was dreadful - kept growling at him and doing that raised hackles, snarly thing that horrible dogs do. We were really embarrassed. Anyway, a couple of days later another neighbour came around and mentioned to my Mum to watch out for him because he'd been "inappropriate" with her kids. Just over a year later he was sent to jail for child abuse.

JellyDiamonds Do tell! My friend dated shagged for a Summer a Saudi prince. They met in a very well known department store!

Itsfab · 27/11/2014 19:37

SuperFly - it was announced that Andy and Kim were engaged before the Apprentice so you probably heard about it subconsciously.

hollyisalovelyname · 27/11/2014 19:43

Jelly and Butterfly do tell.
You can't leave us wondering.

JellyDiamonds · 27/11/2014 20:09

A younger male Royal may have got a woman in Brazil pregnant whilst on an official visit there, his "people" may or may not have paid for her to have an abortion....

Could all be hearsay of course.

CPtart · 27/11/2014 20:28

My dad was very poorly whilst my grandma was on holiday in Spain. She felt an overwhelming urge to go inside a cathedral and pray one day, we later found out it was the day that my dad died back in England. The cathedral was that of St Michael - Michael was my dad's name and my grandma was the least religious person you could meet.

ROUNDandROUNDINCIRCILESMORETHA · 27/11/2014 21:00

The day it was announced princess Diana died i had been daydreaming about meeting her only had this feeling that it would never happen. When we got back from our journey i coundn't believe the news :(

LoafersOrLouboutins · 27/11/2014 21:01

Oooooooh Jelly Diamonds, can't say as I'm surprised at all. But yes, it could all be hearsay.

NormaCore · 28/11/2014 00:41

Callani your dog sounds incredible.

Callani · 28/11/2014 10:01

Thank you NormaCore she really was - she was a lovely border collie and she was honestly so smart and clever about things. We were very lucky to have her. She was the runt of the litter and apparently they were going to drown her so we just had to take her (despite the fact that she was very sickly and her brothers and sisters were bouncy bright things). I think she was just paying us back.

SistersOfPercy · 28/11/2014 14:58

I lost my dear Aunt to Cancer a few years ago. The day she died my Dad (her brother) started Chemo for the same cancer so everything was very very raw. As I sat in bed that night I had a bit of a cry and the last thing I said to DH was "I'll miss her phone calls and her cheery voice singing hello sisters down the phone to me".

I was on high alert with Dad being so ill, so when the phone rang about half 3 in the morning both DH and I jumped up. I answered it (the bedroom extension) and I got the dial tone. Puzzled I dialled 1471 and found my Mums number, from 8pm the night before. Both DH and I heard the phone, we'd both panicked yet apparently it hadn't rang. The DH reminded me of my last words the night before 'I'll miss her phone calls'.

I'm not woo in any way. I have no belief in God but to this day that threw me. I told my Dad and we discussed it all at length. He knew he was terminally ill and he'd joke he'd send me a sign. It never came. I'd like to think it was her saying goodbye, but realistically I know it was probably a phone line fault.

butterflymacqueen · 29/11/2014 17:59

I wish I could. There are times whenever I'm skint, I get the urge to run to The Sun- but oh no, no, no, will not tell.

whosafraidofnaomiwolf · 30/11/2014 08:11

butterfly, no don't 'tell', but couldn't you speculate a little about things that 'may or may not' have happened ?Grin

hollyisalovelyname · 30/11/2014 08:31

Yes butterfly Smile

MarjorieMelon · 30/11/2014 08:47

A mouse once popped out of an electrical appliance wearing a hat and said "Hi". I was only about 3 or 4 when this happened but I can remember it as clear as day.

scandip · 30/11/2014 14:40

I think I should say trigger warning for my post.
I worked in a Village pub when I was in my early twenties. I came in one day and sat a? the bar was a man about 60ish who immediately gave me the horrors. How ever, over time I chatted to him during my shifts and thought he Seemed ok. He worked on a market and was employed by another customer and would bring me leftover fruit and veg.
His employer came in one day completely shaken up and really angry. The man who gave me free veg was in court for rape and was also charged with abusing and killing a baby. His employer had had no idea and was distraught.
On initially setting eyes on this man I had an inner wave of horror. At this time in my life I would probably have trusted him enough to accept a lift from him. Luckily I was never alone with him and have always known since not to ignore my instincts.
