I know Im not the only one.

I cant even be arsed to name change, here goes.

Nervous fanny.

You know when someone falls - hard and cracks their chin or elbow or whatever, my stomach drops, I get a shot of anxiety that shoots through the pit of my stomach down to my fanny. Right in the middle of my fanny I get a horrible feeling of anxiety.

Its only started in the last few years, its really unpleasant. Its like a bolt of aniexty, and I ONLY get it when someone hurts themselves. Wtf is that all about?

Anyway, what weird shit does your body do? Confess.

Wow, I have read the whole thread, can't believe I have so many of these
yy to
javelin arse/fanjo
Bucket bath fanjo
Sugar puff wee
Gleeking

Will add my other oddities

Sometimes i get a Elvis type twitch in my lip, very embarrassing Blush

Quite often, just before I go to sleep, i start uncontrollably imagining horrible scary, horror type, disturbing images, then it goes and I fall asleep.

Sometimes during sex, just as I am about to reach 'the grande finale' I get fucking cramp, in the top of my leg and hip.

If i'm building up to a big sneeze and someone looks at me, even if they are in my peripheral vision, my sneeze disappears and i can't sneeze.

When the song by The Strokes came out 12.51, for ages after, I would look at the clock, and it would be exactly 12.51

ParanoidAnnie · 20/07/2012 22:04

Can't believe so many people have javelin arse I thought I was dying Grin when I first got it!

bogeyface · 20/07/2012 22:05

Can no one else do deliberate Cobra Spit? Really?!

I'm a freak!

threeleftfeet · 20/07/2012 22:06

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown oh, is that what they mean by going weak kneed?
I'd never made the connection!

It's a strange feeling isn't it?!

toxtethogrady · 20/07/2012 22:10

god i get the lumps in the jawline thing too! so far i have acquired tonsil stones, possible javelin arse, and weird jaw balls. i need to get my medical records updated.

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 20/07/2012 22:23

Cold tummy ache. If my stomach isn't covered I get a sort of cross between needing a poo and period pain and have to lie on my front.

Spare wee. Have a wee before bed, lie down, promptly have to get up for another.

lucjam · 20/07/2012 22:24

Javelin arse - oh yes esp when in early stages of pregnancy or on heavy period

Twitchy eye - so bad earlier this year for 3 weeks thought I must be starting with MS or something was going to make GP appt but it did go eventually. Do get twitchyness above knee too on thigh muscle.

Belly button, when I poke it I need a wee urgently

Eating mints, mostly extra chewing gum, tic tacs or ex strong mints makes me sneeze.

Achy horrible bruised fanny flaps when ovulating

when nervous in social situations i get excruciating pain in the back of my head, I had it the other day and my head felt very bumpy as if some muscle had contracted making the back of my head corrugated. Talking about this now has set it off, ow.

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 20/07/2012 22:26

I don't have periods at the minute, but when I did, they used to stop overnight, and start again when I went for a wee the next morning. If I was laid down, I wasn't bleeding. I never have had to use any towels/tampax overnight, evem when I had just had DD. In fact, after having her, I bled lightly for roughly 1 1/2 days, spotted slightly for a day ar two, and it was over and done. Never needed maternity pads.

FunnyLittleFrog · 20/07/2012 22:28

Anyone else have ridges on the back of their front teeth? I though everyone had them until DH said actually, NO, they don't!

Psammead · 20/07/2012 22:29

Get a few of these - orgasm upon much-needed wee, gleeking, Alice syndrome...

Does anyone get weak thumbs? When I wake up, or laugh too hard, or think about my thumbs, they go completely weak. I cannot exert any pressure with them, am unable to hold anything if I need my thumb, and the bases of the nails bother me until I stroke them firmly. I have only ever met one person who gets the same thing.

Also, when I have had a wee and pull up my trousers, it feels like there is a wet drip on my right trouser leg. Like, I can feel it on the front on my thigh once my trousers are pulled up. When I look, there is never, ever a drip. I call it phantom thigh drip

I also get phantom doorframe drips which is when I walk through a door frame, and out of the corner of my right eye I can see a drip just in front of the frame, dripping down from the ceiling. Like a silvery drip. It only happens very occasionally.

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 20/07/2012 22:31

I have had a little lump on left knee for about three years, a little lump on head for about five years, a brown mark between two toes, and my neck feels all funny when I'm nervous or insecure or angry.

yellowraincoat · 20/07/2012 22:36

I had a weird little lump above my eye for YEARS. Assumed it was just a feature of my body. Then one day I poked it when I was plucking my eyebrows and pus went EVERYWHERE. How can a spot sit there for about 5 years? Maaad.

mumnosbest · 20/07/2012 22:40

lucjam you are just like me. Need a wee when touch belly button and bruised flaps during period. 1st can be useful eg when ive forgotten to do a wee sample but the 2nd is bloody 'orrible

TreacleSoda · 20/07/2012 22:45

To the poster who said their eyes water when they yawn, this happens to me as well. Like you, its not just a wee tear or two running out of the side of the eyes, its proper tears, gushing out and down my cheeks, and always makes people think I'm really crying.

mumnosbest · 20/07/2012 22:47

What about really long wees or ones that stop for a second then start all over again.

Anyone else go for a middle of the night or early morning wee and think they might not be awake. i have to really voncentrate and worry i might be asleep and dreaming whilst wetting the bed.

mumnosbest · 20/07/2012 22:47

*concentrate

ToffeeWhirl · 20/07/2012 22:48

*Tasteslikepandas8 - when I was little, I used to get a feeling that I was far, far away from everything. If I looked at the window, for example, it seemed as if it was at the end of a long tunnel. Definitely something to do with size, but I didn't feel big, just different and 'wrong'.

Also, sometimes get a weird thing when I feel that I'm lying on something hard behind my head. It happened both times when I was pregnant and it makes me want to cry a bit. Have absolutely no idea what it means, but when it happens I just think, "Oh, it's that weird, unpleasant feeling again" -Confused. I wonder if it's some kind of memory from babyhood.

ToffeeWhirl · 20/07/2012 22:48

Have had that sleep paralysis thing too. Awful.

TreacleSoda · 20/07/2012 22:52

This isn't so much my body doing strange things, more my mind.

But sometimes, I get suddenly overwhelmed by this feeling that I might have done something really embarassing without realising it. e.g. farted in a room full of people, and everyone is too polite to say. Or said something really inappropriate. Or picked my nose. That sort of thing. I get sort of convinced that I might have actually done it, even though I have no reason to believe that I would, if you know what I mean.

ThisOnce · 20/07/2012 22:57

Quenelle and Sshhh, I think this might be a form of OCD.

goygoy · 20/07/2012 23:06

Blimey, I get/have had loads of these too...

Tonsil stones (freaked me out completely as a child/teenager)
Javelin arse
Fanny bubbles
Eye watering/strong urge to cry/paralysed feeling if someone tells a ghost story/supernatural type tale
Recurring dreams when ill (more as a child than an adult)
That runny ear feeling (but completely dry when I check it and only ever in my left ear)

Don't know if this has been mentioned... but I still get the 'let down reflex' feeling if I see one of my DCs hurt themselves. Haven't breastfed in over 5 years.... Confused

Also certain smells still make me feel physically sick (had awful morning sickness with both kids) and cleaning my teeth makes me gag (never a problem before kids either)

Great thread!

lucjam · 20/07/2012 23:09

SuddenlyMadameGlamour could you please pm re: the leg pain and endo, my GP won't beleive me even thought I have had an op before to get rid of endo, I would like more info, thanks v much

JollyHockeyStick · 20/07/2012 23:14

Diluting orange juice makes me cough.

TheWizardsWife · 20/07/2012 23:16

Ive been both amused and agreeing with so much of this thread.

Amazed that someone elses knees hurt with period pain...especially since I only discovered I had a tilted cervix about 2months ago (not sure how it took til 33 to know that!)

Mine to add- my front few bottom teeth tingle A LOT if I've had a particularly steamy session. Not just any naked time, just a real good seeing too! Bizarre!

mumnosbest · 20/07/2012 23:21

lauratheexplorer i get tingly/pins n needles on fanny too of ive sat too long.
