My elder son has clearly styled his hair according to the Play People catalogue and us v v happy with the result. His claim is that he'll find friends the world over.

My 2 year old used to do anything from a big poo in the potty, to utter a few words, to eat all his dinner.

I would say to him "you are amazing"

His response "I am not amazing, I'm Jack"

My dd2 who is 5 was pulling her big sister by the cardigan earlier tonight.
Dd1 said "dd2 stop pulling me!"

Dh- feeling philosophical -once asked ds1 (about 2yo at the time) where he had come from. Ds replied 'ASDA'.

My 2 year old DD once announced that she had good news and bad news. The bad news was that she had broken her wax crayon she was using, the good news was that she now had two!

Same DD once announced that she again had good news and bad news. The good news being that she had found the missing piece from one of her toys...the bad news being that she hadn't found it yesterday.

My 4 year old asked me where the first people came from and how did they get made, if they were first, in a variation of the chicken and egg scenario.
