Reform of Child Support Agency

Does anyone know how to or who to contact with regards to lobbying about the reform of the child support agency. I have emailed my local MP's, councillors and Govet - all a load of tripe if I am quite honest. I am very disillousioned and feel that over the past 12 years my sons' and my voice has not been heard nor supported. I beleive that there does need to be a rdical shake up of the system as my ex has played the CSA for far too long....anyone with suggestions I would gladly appreciate your advice!

my ex declared he wouldnt work again as paying support for 4 dc he's not allowed to see isnt fair o him....but thats something i can do anything about

Whatever new initiatives there are there will be loopholes for absent parents, mostly men, to duck their responsibilities. The rules are written by men for men.

When the courts enforced child maintenence it seemed to be far better. If you're going to make parents pay to use a service, let them use the Courts. At least then they may feel that they have been able to have their voices heard properly-put their points accross to a judge "live", and made the other parent give a proper account of themselves. Given the many failures of the CSA, asking parents to pay to use it is a joke.

The CSA will have to be overhauled. It can only cope with employees. It doesn't deal with men/fathers who run their own companies. I have a solicitor friend who managed to get her, wealthy male client, down to a £5 a week award to the mother of his child. It's absurd and all down to them not being able to deal with men outside the PAYE system. Hope it changes swiftly for everyone's sakes.
My Top Tip is to go through the Court process for maintenance with a Penal Notice attached to it. If needs must. Good Luck. BB
