I feel quite ashamed by the fact that I have NO idea who my MP is since I moved (a year ago ) Probably some tory since I live in Aylesbury now.

That one year rule - does that apply just to internet libel? Why one year?

Well, it's acknowledging the fact that if something is damaging your reputation you ought to notice it within a year - and to stop sites being liable for things written yonks ago that no-one's noticed (I think).
