Quite a few folk dress their babies and young children in full Man U kit, including boots. Not only is the kit manufactured in China, it is 100% synthetic.

This is wrong.

One of the joyful things about DP is that he can't be arsed with football. He watches some matches in a half arsed fashion, like he watched the FA cup Man U match on Saturday. Bless him he kept getting confused because he doesn't know all the rules of football, dd had to explain what was going on at some points.

I LOATHE football fandom and would absilutely not ever have a relationship with someone who religiously followed football. It is bad enough going to work on a Monday morning and listening to all the blokes carp on about the game as if it is important.

DD loves it though, and always has, both playing and watching (many Saturday and Sunday mornings spent watching matches and cheering from sidelines even though (a) I don't know what is going on and (b) I don't care). My brother is a pro football coach as well so football is in the family

DD suports Bradford City (why? I don't know) and has a strip with her NAME on the back. It is vile, and vile colours (amber and burgundy stripes fgs). I will not let her wear it socially, she wears it when training.

Agree real fandom is mental illness.

"The approval sticker should show a cat's bum mouth & the mumsnet logo."

PMSL!

FunnyLittleFrog · 06/01/2010 13:50

They could applique it on all Mini-Boden stuff.

TheOldestCat · 06/01/2010 14:11

All good points. DH often wishes his elder brother had supported Man United rather than inflicting the comedy rollercoaster that being a Man City fan entails on him. But he continues to attempt to brainwash DD into supporting Cit-eh. It's a mystery.

Me, I love rugby. But I am a Welshie.

Iklboo · 06/01/2010 14:13

Rugby rules - though I prefer Union and I live 1/2 a mile from a league ground so I get more from the in-laws

I needed a laugh.

FunnyLittleFrog - excellent idea about the appliqueed cat's bum mouth on Mini-Boden. Perhaps their lovely spotty tissue paper could be secured with a cat's bum sticker..... thank you for shopping at Boden in association with cat's bum face Mumsnet?
