Dear MNHQ, after several happy years with MN (cutted up pear thread, grooming your ladygarden for labour etc) I'm asking you for a big favour. Please can you help me find my bone marrow donor?

I'm in relapse with leukaemia and once they've cleared the disease I'll need a transplant. All the details are on the website: www.perfecttenmatch.co.uk

So sorry to hear your news. I've had a look on your website. I did register with the BMR a year or two ago but I never heard from them. How do I find out if I am a match for somebody, like yourself?

I registered with Delete Blood Cancer earlier this year - they accepted people on their register who are older than 30.

They sent a swab kit in the post, I swabbed and sent it back. It couldn't have been easier!
