Has anyone noticed that in one high street store they are selling jewellery with fake razor blades on? I'm concerned about this as self harm is an issue with some young people.

Hmm
ILoveTIFFANY · 30/12/2012 17:52

So don't buy it for young people?

You seriously expect some campaign over this???

Mrsrudolphduvall · 30/12/2012 17:57

The punks got there first in 1977.

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 30/12/2012 18:05

I don't see how selling fake razor blades on jewellery would contribute to anyone self harming at all surely the issue would be if they were selling real ones.

Children's jewellery? Who says its children's jewellery? Claire's isn't exclusively a children's shop is it.

MrsSham · 30/12/2012 18:20

Some would argue self harm to be a positive rather than a negative releases any way.

Tortington · 30/12/2012 18:21

please mumsnet, i have knives in the kitchen, save me

MrsSham · 30/12/2012 18:24

Oh my god custards with homacide on the rise please get rid of the knives you be actually tempted to kill. I hope they are locked in a drawer and not on a visible knife block. Please someone just think of the children

Tortington · 30/12/2012 18:37

i also have an unhealthy amount of drawing pins in the ceiling.

right, enough of that.

I get your point op about sensationalising self harm
