Moulded bras in Tammy

Not just one or two but every bra on the website is a moulded and possibly padded one.

However they do not sell the bras in age sizes they are sold in proper bra sizes. Does this make it OK as long as they start stocking some non-moulded ones too?

Seems that some of these are definitely aimed at children. I am particularly disturbed by the padded bra and pant set with Snoopy on it. What kind of message does this instill to a young girl who is just on the verge of puberty - your breasts are too small already ? and then we wonder about why so many have such a negative body image. What I find most uncomfortable is that in my opinion this is another way of sexualising young girls. Has this been included in the Let Girls be Girls Campaign?

When I was younger I wanted moulded bras rather than thin material ones - not to make my imaginary boobs look bigger but because I really didn't like visible poky nipples.

There is a big differences between moulded vs padded.

Moulded bras are great if you have Fembot nipples. Which is worse at that age, others seeing your bra or your nipples sticking out? Genuine question, puberty is too long ago for me to remember!

I agree moulded bras aren't an issue but it's difficult to tell whether these have padding as well just from the online picture.

I think moulded bras are great - dd preferred them as they were more comfortable than the ones with seams on. As far as I can recall they were not padded, although they seemed that way as moulded ones are slightly fuller than the non moulded ones.

I don't think it is done in a sexualising way. I think they are preferred as being more comfortable and that you can't see nipples through them.

DD has a sponge bob bra, i don't see a problem with cartoon characters on bras tbh.

If anything the Snoopy is showing that even though they may need a bra they are still children - the exact opposite of "making them grow up too fast" (a phrase I see here a lot).

DD had her frst bra at 10 - think it is more approproate to have a sponge bob square pants bra at that age than to have a vile leopard print/lace one.

I have a 9yr old and it won't be long until she's wearing bras. I'd feel happier about her having a snoopy/spongebob one than the lace trimmed one on that link.
I wouldn't buy padded, but moulded is fine. I've seen similar in M&Co, in fact I own most of the character pants and I don't think they are sexual at all.

People seem to see "hooker chic" everywhere. It's bizarre.
