Advice to stop breastfeeding!!

I've been exclusively breastfeeding and expressing for my 13 week old twins and now want to start phasing out the 10.30 and 2.30pm bfs and replacing with formula. A few weeks ago I introduced the formula feed at 10.30 am and just expressed a little bit, now I have phased the expressing out but am still finding it really uncomfortable. How long does it take to phase each feed out - and can you do this? I'd like to end up doing a bf for all other feeds and just having them on formula in the daytime so I can get out the house for longer.

Any advice welcome!

Hi,
Did you stop feeds for both twins at once? I just stopped one feed at a time and alterneted bottles each day, i.e each twin has formular every other day to start with. This was at 5 mnths though so possibly a bit easier as milk supply has settled down due to babies also eating solids. I would just take it very slowly as you don't wan't get blocked duct's etc. Good luck
