Have you decided what to do about Halifax Shabs?

shabbadabbadingdong · 21/10/2010 13:59

I've decided I will do the return trip with him on the Saturday and then allow him to do the trip back on Sunday on his own and meet him at Victoria Station in Manchester.

BUT his girl friend (he says that I cant say girlfriend LOL) Mum is working all week-end and doesn't want to leave them 'home alone' so she is dithering about as much as I am Grin

It may have to be postponed until the week-end after so, if that is the case, we are going to have a crash course in train travel....the train stops close to our house into Manchester so think we will do that a few times - with Lew - Gawd help us LOL.

Evening all..........feeling abit peed off with dh, I try not to but there are times when I could cheerfully wring his neck, like now!! Feeling restless......can`t settle to do anything.....and half-term looming Confused
Just a thought Shabs....could always save the snot for Halloween........yes I know......gross:o

shabbadabbadingdong · 21/10/2010 22:29

triplets · 21/10/2010 22:35

Jeez......I find it so hard at times to forgive, esp when he is so ill..........but sometimes I could scream, as I`m ambidextrous(posh hey) I could do them both at the same time:o

TopsyAndTimsMum · 21/10/2010 23:05

Hiya all, It's piximon. I haven't stopped by long enough to post for ages. Been trying to knuckle down and study. Last exam for this year finished so should be around more often, (till January at least). [hsmile]

I need a round up. Has anyone heard from FG? She keeps promising me an email but it hasn't turned up yet and I've been worrying.

Dts love nursery, they do two full days a week. I can't believe they'll be 4 in dec and start school next year! Dt1 is tracing her name over dots, dt2 still hasn't figured out how to hold the pencil properly Xmas Grin but at least they finally mastered the toilet thing. Now just have to get Prince through it and we can be a nappy free house, after almost 8 years!

Right off to make some tea, round up pretty please.

shabbadabbadingdong · 21/10/2010 23:19

Pixie have missed you sooooooooo much - not heard very much from Frumpster.

Round up???????????? No point - except that me and that posh Trips went on a weeks virtual holiday to Faliraki together and Ruby went flying around a racetrack in a very fast car......Ooogs tried her best to make up the numbers and did an admirable job. Apologises to anyone she has missed out Hmm

Dont go Pixie - your arse is needed here!! We have been on this thread for months!!!!!!!!

shabbadabbadingdong · 21/10/2010 23:20

OMG I started this thread on the 1st July Confused

TopsyAndTimsMum · 21/10/2010 23:55

Where is everyone? Don't tell me they're all off having lives!

Well in the interst of filling the thread, my round up...erm, I went to a pta meeting tonight...It's my wedding anniversary next week (7 years)...I'm thinking of volunteering to read with children at school next sept when prince starts nursery...dh can't find a job and is getting seriously down about it...meanwhile I'm eating like a horse and getting down about that.

What about me ShabsShock
pixi you have been missed.........beginning to feel like the Titanic on here at times. Frumpster comes and goes, sure she is alright......can`t believe your dts are 4, where did that time go? Started Christmas shopping, looking now for cheapo i-pod for James as he and Thomas are sharing an xbox and if I know Thomas it will be his!!

shabbapinkfrog · 22/10/2010 17:05

I didn't forget you me owd mucker!!! I told Pixie about our holiday!!! xxxx

Much to Tom and Paiges disgust I made friends with Paiges Mum on Facebook - Toms face was like this Hmm Shock Blush Turns out that she didn't know much about Toms visit tomorrow Paige is at the 'I hate my Mum' stage!!! We have been gabbing backwards and forwards on Facebook.

She is as nervous about all this as I am. She was very young when she had Paige and thats why she worries about her so much. She is coming down to Manchester for the Xmas market and wants us all to meet up which will be brilliant and she is going to organise it for Paige to come to ours one day next week.

AND she understands my fears and doesn't think Im a barking mad owd biddie!!!

Just sat and explained to Tom about how frightened I am all the time because Matt and Gareth died. Explained how irrational my fears are but they are very real to me.

I knew it was the right thing to make friends with her Mum

Gawd help us if Paige lived in Australia and not 36 miles away Blush

TopsyAndTimsMum · 23/10/2010 14:19

Shabs Grin @ frog

I've spent the morning washing, but can't hang it out because of the rain. Dcs are watching Ghostbusters (their Halloween movie of the day). Dh has gone out to look at loft insulation.

I'm tired. Woken up at 5am by dt2 needing the toilet but being too wrapped in blankets and the dark to manage himself.

Then 6am dd1 put all the lights on, on her (overly long) trip to the loo.

Then 7am dt1 called needing her bottom wiped and I gave up on the idea of lying in.

Taking dd1 and ds1 for sausage and mash at the local hall tonight (raising money for twinning assoc).

Trips you're as organised as me. I've sorted dd1/ds1/ds2 a present. Now to just find funds something for dt1 and ds3. A friend is bringing some toys over next week so will hopefully be something in there for them. Santa is bringing them each a choc reindeer (aldi) and my cheap and cheerful xmas is almost all wrapped.

triplets · 23/10/2010 23:02

Evening ladies.....are you all sitting up in bed like me? DH still sleeping downstairs, his choice.......two boys still talking and generally carrying on, its only 11pm!! Feel like clearing off next week, weather sounds ok, kids home and dh really good atm, surgery on the 1st! Then its 6 weeks recovery, then its Christmas......blimey o`reilly where has this awful year gone too?
